The Hottest Guys in History", I've decided to compile a list of female hotties among the rich and famous in today's media. Keep in mind, this is only a personal favorites list. As a heterosexual male, I feel a little uncomfortable researching hottest people lists.
Gwyneth Paltrow - talk about a seriously hottie. Unfortunately, she is now happily taken by Coldplay's openly spiritual frontman Chris Martin, who pursued her after meeting her backstage at a Coldplay concert, after which according to whoever edits Chris's Wikipedia page, "the couple embarked on a whirlwind romance.."
Clemence Poesy - french actress, obscurely known in the states. shes really only known here for her portrayal of Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter series, and as Chloe in the film "In Bruges"
Zooey Deschanel - breakout actress/musician of 2009. Who doesn't find her attractive? she's known for her roles in
Yes Man and (500) Days of Summer
Amy Acker - She's just adorable. I cant explain it. She's known for her role as Winnifred "Fred" Burkle on the hit show "Angel", her character's likeable personality and intelligence is an incredible turn on
Alyson Hannigan - Simply stunning. known as Willow Rosenberg, that nice cute redhead with a darkside, on cult-hit show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and then later as Lily Aldrin on the hit CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". Unfortunately, she's happily married to her Buffy co-star Alexis Denisof at the young age of 29

I find none of those women to be attractive.
In history made me think there were going to be beauty icons. This is just a list of recent celebs.
They're all pretty, but I wouldn't put any of them in the "hottest girls in history!" category like you have.
Then again, I'm a straight girl, so my opinion probably isn't the one you're looking for.
Rose McGowan. Especially in that chain link dress she wore. I feel bad for her, though. People kept following her, she developed agoraphobia then fucked up her face to escape it all. Before she did that, she was a Goddess.

They're kinda prettyish. I wouldn't call them hot, though. But I'm a little critical sometimes.

These are all kinda similar quirky indie actresses...I like their work and find them attractive, but I'd stop short of calling them timeless hotties. But whatever floats your boat.
My love for Christina Hendricks notwithstanding, Dita Von Teese seems to be missing from this list. Also, Queen motherfucking Rania of Jordan.
Also, I think these types of posts should be renamed Hottest Female (or Male) CELEBRITIES in History. That would be much more accurate.
I'd have to disagree with all of these choices. Not just for their looks, but their personas don't scream "icon" to me at all. The only girl on this list whose career hasn't evaporated into thin air already would be Zooey Deschanel.
If I had to come up with my own list, I'd go for those well-rounded women who have it all and would never be forgotten, like Natalie Portman, Selita Ebanks (she's a VS model, plus she could've gone to Columbia University or NYU!), or Tina Fey.

I only like Gwyneth but I think she's beautiful not hot. I wouldn't consider her hot except in Great Expectations she played her role well tantalizing lil Pip (Ethan Hawke).

You call this a hottest girls in history post, without the classic timeless beauties? Maybe if it was called "pretty celebrities of recent times" it'd be more accurate. :P
Clemence and Zooey are definitely beautiful, but in my opinion, no one compares to Adriana Lima. It's ridiculous how gorgeous she is. Gemma Ward is beautiful as well, not her body when she's super thin, just the face. Leighton Meester is gorgeous as well.
