Another Life Lost
We're only 5 days into January and we already have another staggering death. Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was pronounced dead Monday, January 4, 2010 at the age of 30. Doctors said she died of natural causes. However, fiance Tila Tequila believes she might have died from a prescription drug overdose. She was a diabetic and had adopted a daughter from Kazakhstan in 2007. She has left a lot behind and will be in the memory of many especially in her fathers (owner of the Jets), her adoptive daughter, and her fiance Tila Tequila.
Will 2010 be another year full of celebrity deaths? How would you deal with the loss of a fiance?

Honestly, I haven't heard much about Casey Johnson until the announcement of her engagement with Tila and that wasn't too long ago. Now, I'm hearing about her death. So sad a young life had to be cut so short.
RIP
Oh my gosh. I hope many others don't die, it's horribly depressing. RIP
I had no idea who she was.
@TheSecretLifeOfPandas@xanga - Same here.
Tila Tequila is a joke.
Any time that someone dies of drugs is sad. Her case is particularly sad because she had nearly every opportunity and kind of wasted it..
I hope that 2010 isn't as sad as 2009 when it comes to mainstream deaths. The Rev (A7X) dying made me horribly sad.
Also, I hope I never find out how I'd deal with a fiance dying. I can only imagine I'd be miserable :(
i couldn't handle it. i would probably freak the heck out.
@TheRealMelanie@xanga - The Rev's passing made me sad as well. AX7 will never be the same. I'm just a little irritated that people who have never even heard of AX7 just naturally assume it's drugs even before they began the autopsy.
I seriously don't know that I would consider her a celebrity. But um.... ok. It's sad. I wouldn't be surprised if the cause was some sort of chemical dependency (drugs/alcohol, etc) or overdose.
hopefully the other celebs will learn from all these drug overdose cases and be more careful or I should say less dependent on drugs... prescription or other wise.
=[
i dont really know who she is..
i feel bad for tila and her adoptive daughter... =/
[RIP]
..
not to be insensitive but will Johnson&Johnson
still be making products?... cuz i love their stuff =/
I don't think there have been a larger number of celebrity deaths - I think we're just considering a larger number of people to be "celebrities."
Of course any death, especially of a young person, is sad, but I think calling this "another staggering death" is QUITE an exaggeration.
What did she do for a living? o-O But that's sad, RIP.
2010's not off to a great start..
Their has to be somethng done about these prescription pills. Honestly, this kind of sounds like Brittany Murphy's story. If she did die of an overdose.
RIP
But it makes me wonder if Tila Tequila had anything to do with it...Casey sure had a lot to leave behind. Just curiosity, not really making any assumptions.
@methodElevated@xanga - Same here. (shrugs)
I can't even fathom losing a fiance.
I wouldn't be able to handle it, nuff said. My bf is my "one"...it would take me countless lifetimes to bring myself to live again.
So many of them are dying from drugs they are suppose to be taking. How tragic. What ever happened to the heroin overdose? The cocaine binge related heart attack? What is happening to our stars!?
Celebrities are human, humans die all the time.
I had a nightmare about all my friends and boyfriend dying once. Horrible.
Why is everyone dying? :/ It's so depressing..
The guy who invented Pez died!
Why does no one know this?!
First off, Tila Tequila is a lesbian? I had no idea...Not that it matters anyway. Secondly, why is everyone so caught up in these celebrity deaths? Does anyone actually know these people? It's not like they're gods, they're just human beings like you and me. Yes, it is tragic when anyone dies, and it's very sad that this woman died very young. But I think these deaths are way too overplayed in the media. Case in point: Michael Jackson.
