What Do You Like to Call Your Loved One?
I personally call my boyfriend a smorgasbord of gross cutesy names; sweetheart, honey, baby, Cammens (haha his name is Cameron), teddy bear, panda bear and most recent edition- moobear. (Because pandas are black and white like cows. Therefore; moobear. It makes sense to us.) His newest edition to my nicknames is "huggy bear." He only says it before he hugs me, and he sounds like a 5-year-old. I find it adorable.
I don't really have nicknames for any of my other loved ones; I refer to my best friend as baby starfish, and that's about the only special one.
All of these nicknames do have meanings behind them, haha. I feel like they would seem strange to outsiders. They are terms of endearment; they may seem immature, but they mean a lot to me.But anyway. Does anyone have relationships as strange as mine? What special names do you have for your loved one? Or close friends, just friends, family members, etc. Loved ones!

hubbiie~~~~~ ^-^
I've always had an aversion to "cutesy" names.
Too bad English doesn't lend itself to diminutive/pet names.
i use babydoll, babylove & dollface a lot (:
Dear, love, sweetheart, beautiful.. Those are the common ones I can think of.
I usually make up a bunch of specific names of my loved one as well.
@eohippus@xanga - I had an aversion too. one day it just grew on me, I dunno what happened.
His name, or some variation thereof, honey
By his name or baby most of the time.
mikey, baby, babe, honey, or angel if i'm in a particularly good mood.
Pooh, kiddo or doofus depending on the situation.
Does occasionally calling my friend a "douche" count?
Anyway, I'm a single, 19-year old male, so no.
I used to call her fartknocker ... she used to call me buttmuncher
Cole, dear, love, babe. Occasionally "darlin'" for lulz.
Honey and sweetheart are the top 2. Oh, and sometimes I call him babe.... :) I get more creative when I'm writing to him, though.
i call him puppy because during the beginning of the relationship he used to follow me around like a little puppy but then it was because he had this adorable puppy face that he uses every single second on me
My boyfriend usually gets refered to as prick, or twat - If i'm feeling nice.
I'm such a lovely girlfriend, true.
haha I call my boyfriend "love" mostly. But he is reffered to as panda man now and again :)
hahaha i hate cutesy nicknames. im sorry. i dont mean any offense haha.
but i mean, i call him love. or dear, occasionally. and he calls me hon. nothing too much.
Ahaha! I'm the same way, they sound like nonsence, but they actually mean something to us. I have A lot of them, mostly because I make them up to "annoy" him ((they don't really though XP)), and all of them have some sort of relivance for us but for anyone else listening...They would make absolutely no sense...Anyways, I use Sweetheart and Lovely when I am being somewhat serious, and when I am not...I call him variations of his actual name, as well as my Faun, Mr Tumnus, Beautiful Cupcake, Fluffy, Scruffy, Fuzzy Catapiller...amoung others XD I find making up wierd nicknames fun :P
baby boo doll.. :P
Tootise, babe, pumpkin, baby, hott stuff, handsome, etc. Haha we make up names as we go too.
i call my boyfriend schatzi, which is an austrian thing =)
Monkey or banana...mostly because his name sounds like the latter. I'm not one to call people cutesy things...apparently I'm cutesy enough as it is :P
I call one of my friends Ainsleykins. :D (Her name is Ainsley.)
My boyfriend I refer to as John or love, but I've addressed him as goofball, beautiful, and gorgeous before. :)
He'll call me Kate, love, beautiful, silly, or angel, or even silly angel, haha.
We don't really use the generic nicnames like honey, sweetie, dear (I don't like this one), baby, etc. But I've accidentally called him honey before, I think, because I call my dog that when I'm being obnoxious and petting him so it just comes out. O.o
I called him sayang :p
Love, usually. For some reason I get even more cutesy with some of my friends and call them "love," "dear," etc. all the time, hah.
