  • So, Am I Asking For Too Much?

In a person (relationship or whatever), there are certain things I ask, but I really don't think they're too hard:

    1. I ask for you to be honest, even if it will piss me off (I'll get over it)
    2. Be sincere, do something because you want to, not because you feel obligated to
    3. If you don't do it, don't expect it from me
    4. If you have something to say about someone, say it to me and don't be a bitch about it.
    5. If you're unsure on something, instead of assuming what you heard from someone else, ask the source (me!)
    6. Show me the real you and I'll show you the real me.
    7. Know your place. I say many egocentric things but I'm really not that way.

It's sad that I get more honesty from people I don't even know rather then people I've known for years.

I do my best to do these things. it wouldn't be right if I asked you to when I didn't (which would be contradicting what I just said).

In relationships, since I want something serious; I'm much more strict and more direct when it comes to these. I don't want any actors in my already limited social circle. I believe if being a real person and not playing a part in a movie you're not getting paid for. But if I'm going to deal with you, more then a normal person, I'd like to know the real person because I can decide if I want to deal with you.

Putting your cards on the table is very important. if there is anything that you tell that may change the way I view you, you're better off just telling me. Most times a person is sacred and I understand that, but you should just be honest. Because trust I tell my situation from the get-go, well if you ask. I have no problem with answering questions you ask, that's how you learn about one another.

I went through a phase where I tried to act a certain way and while it may work for a time, I found people liking/disliking me for the wrong reasons. I now give you the good and the bad. I figure to give you both sides; but you get the truth.

Is this so hard to understand?
