Question of the Day
I've heard of so many ways to tell a person you like them. Anything from the lame text saying "I like you, do you like me?" to the extravagant announcement in a public place with flowers and balloons.
How would you want someone to tell you they liked you?

well anyway! of course it's nice when it's done in a grand romantic gesture though :)
Haha, this makes me think of elementary school.
back in the old days when i was young, i would ask them if they like me w/o telling them i like them first...
then if they wanted to know whether i like them or not... i would say "only if you like me" :D
She quickly gives me a head-lock, tells me she likes me, and then runs away. That would be ideal.
in a language that i understand would be nice.
i'd like it if they, just randomly held my hand and you can just tell right before they tell you.
I don't know, just by telling me? It really doesn't have to be that complicated..
Id rather just be told :)
by phone or in person...being told he wants more...than just my friendship...would be ideal.
I'd like it if he doesn't say it right away and just shows it through what he does for me or says to me. Then he tells me very sweetly.
I would want to be given countless inconspicuous hints that clearly meant something to the other person but means absolutely nothing to me. Additionally, I would want this to go on for many months until we are both so frustrated with it that we decide it would be better to just be friends.
I would want the words I like you to come from the person himself & not from a friend they ask to tell you .How to tell you? if they live in your town in person but if not maybe in an email or letter sealed with a kiss
.
I like how my current boyfriend told me...he kissed me, and as we kissed, I was playing with his hair (he has really thick hair). He said something about it, and I said "I like your hair." He responded, "Well, I like you." <3 Kinda corny, but having been with him for over a year now I know he's kind of uncomfortable with just coming out and saying point blank how he feels, so it was really sweet. :)
Before this he kind of hinted at it through words and actions, and then eventually came out and said it...I kind of like that progression. If the subtle hints last too long it can get really annoying though. :P
Uh yes.
Even if I'm not interested, just so I know?something like: 'I like you, please follow me.'
I'd like to just be told in person. Alot more personal, and it's nice to see the other persons reaction. Says more than words.
Well my current girlfriend, I just up and kissed her after we'd been hanging out for a few hours one day and I was 99.9999% sure she liked me back. It's a pretty concrete statement... not a whole lot of room for interpretation there. So, if it was a girl I was getting close with, I'd enjoy her telling me like that. If it was just some acquaintance who happened to be crushing on me, pulling me aside and having some guts is the best way. Do NOT do it through text, e-mail, etc. Face-to-face makes a much better impression and you're more likely to get the response you want. Besides, somebody can't stall when you're right in front of them...
anything but electronically like e-mail, IM, or text or anything like that. The guy i'm with now told me in my birthday card. really cute :)
this reminds me of george straits song "check yes or no" =]
and if someone would to tell me they like me... hmm this is kind of weird but I'd like a random kiss just out of the blue while talking to that person... is that really out of the ordinary? haha
Lol. I'd like it to be when we're just hanging out. People could be around or not, but it's nice when it's personal. I wouldn't like a big public display.
@isingstupidsongs@xanga - Exactly. Keep it simple, use your words.
Hmm.. Doesn't really matter, as long as he means it.
I really like the way my boyfriend did it. He gave me little hints through out a couple of months. He talked to me all night on the phone straight, and then told me that there was something he had to tell me but didn't want to for two reason. 1.) i might feel the same. 2.) if i didn't. it might make being friends awkward. then told me if i stayed awake until i got to church, he'd text me. so we stayed on the phone until church the next morning. &, he texted me saying "i still like you, alot. I never got over you."

Just be sincere about it whenever or however I would be told!
Just tell me. haha. I think notes are really adorable, though. :]
