Whenever I don't know what to get someone on my Christmas list, I usually stick to a standard Starbucks gift card or something of the life. But this Christmas, a law firm in London are offering a different kind of gift certificate. So for all of those people on your list who are perhaps going through a rough patch in their marriage currently, a
divorce voucher may be the perfect gift.
Valued at $265 for a half hour session, these vouchers give the recipient the opportunity to sit down with a top divorce attorney and ask for advice. And apparently they have been flying off the shelves in London.
The holidays are a stressful time for everyone, especially now with money woes weighing heavily on many minds, but the idea of divorce vouchers as Christmas presents just don't sit right with me. Divorce is not something you wrap up and put a bow on. Personally, I would feel awkward if a friend gave that to me this Christmas. They would certainly not be getting a Thank You card from me.
What do you think about divorce vouchers? Do you have any friends who could benefit from one? Would you send someone a divorce voucher?

wtf?
unfortunately i do know people who may benefit from this, but i sure as hell aint giving it to them as a christmas present!!
That's plain ridiculous, and commercialism/materialism at its worst. I would be pretty offended if that was a gift to me.
Very lame.
lol omg that's ridiculous. first 265 or it?! and second, divorce vouchers... really?! divorce though... >.<
I would NEVER give those out as gifts. If I ever received one, I'd probably wonder what planet the person came from and re-evaluate our "friendship". That's just me, though...
talk about the gift of marriage/family wrecking O___O.
