Recently, a firm in Montreal decided that they were going to do a
study to find the effects that porn has on people. The only problem: they can't find any men that have never watched porn.
They were able to discern that most boys seek out porn at the early age of 10 and that most of the porn is consumed on the internet (duh: like that musical goes, "The Internet is For Porn") and that couples rarely view porn together.
When did you watch your first porn? Does 10 seem early to you too? Are you shocked that they can't find men who've not watched porn? (I'm not!)

I first watched porn when I was 11. It was by accident (URL address typo).
Everyone watches porn, but women are more closeted about it.Most woman have too. No research to back up my statement...just a hunch. Think I was 12 when my friends and I were flipping through showtime channels and found it, haha.
I think I first watch porn when I was ... sometime in middle school... I don't remember.
Yes I agree, everyone watches porn. Eventually everyone goes through it. Actually I know people who haven't seen porn. yet... :)
I know a ton of women who haven't watched porn.
I probably started in late middle school...maybe 12 or 13. I love watching it. Especially with other people. Pirates was one of my favorites. I watched it with my boyfriend. I enjoyed it more than he did.
i don't know anyone who hasn't seen porn.. there are so many virus links/pop-up ads T_T
i watched porn at age seven with my brother, sister, and cousins. my parents use to party every weekend. they would be in the mother in law house in the backyard and we would be inside watching tv/playing games. lol. we stumbled upon on porn and just said "EW. GROSS. NASTY" and would run away when an adult would come inside. lmfao.
When I was a kid in the 70s and early 80s, (a) we had to be sneaky about porn [which usually came in two forms: magazines and films], and (b) everyone denied looking at porn. Nowadays, with so many different forms of porn, and with them being so widespread and easy to obtain, the giggle-giggle keep-in-secret attitude has dissipated, and it is easier to admit that we have all been exposed to, or actively sought, porn.
Anyway, I was probably in third grade, when I accidentally stumbled upon my parents' B&W nudie magazines, as well as my uncles' Playboy and Penthouse issues. Heck, one uncle left a bag of weed in the bathroom, and I had no idea what it was. I probably thought it was tea leaves.
Honestly, I have. When my stupid brothers and guy cousins dragged me in to see Sailor Moon get raped. She was my idol, and they just had to inflict damage to my eyes.
Na uh, i never watched porn! And im a guy sooo uhhh in yo face!
Obviously not shocked, though I've given it up. It's bad for my sex life as my expectations go up and up and most of the time they are not met.

I think a man who has never watched porn would likely have "issues" not related to porn.
The statistics are not representative; only 20 students were interviewed.
But what surprises me is that kids are watching porn when they're just 10 years old. Hell, I didn't even start watching them until I was 19 or 20 years old.
Dunno about "watched" but if seeing a porn ad counts then probably everyone has. Like most people, I accidentally stumble onto porn ads while surfing the net as a kid and click on them out of curiosity. Those things are too easy to find, I would look for pictures for my school project and find porn once in awhile lol, this was before google had safe search.
I"m not totally surprised. I first started looking at porn when I was about 14 or 15.
it's hard for anyone to entirely avoid porn in the modern world. you find it without trying in the least, especially people who use the internet but aren't quite sure what they are doing AKA my mother. "OMG I GOT ...PORN ON THE SCREEN!!! WHAT DO I DO?! WHAT DO I DO?!" LOL
10 doesn't surprise me. kids are curious little buggers.
I'm not surprised. One of my best friends watches it. She's cool about it, too. Sometimes she shares links with me. Haha. You'd be surprised how many girls watch porn, most just don't say anything about it at all. I guess that's normal. As long as it's just watching and not going out and doing it with random people it's okay. Plus, it can make any relationship kinkier.
@AutumnShadowsQ@xanga - I think I love porn more than my boyfriend does too. lol
@AutumnShadowsQ@xanga - pirates was funny....UMD was going to show it at their theatre but then the state threatened to take away funding if we did...which was BS.
but one of my guy friends downloaded it and we all watched it together...lol. interesting night.
But yeah I started watching porn when I was like that age too...I was masturbating like wayyy before I even knew what it was.
human sexuality. people need to not make it so taboo.
PLAY WITH YOURSELVES!! the world be such a happier place if they did...
@BlehhItsTu@xanga - Sailor Moon was porn itself haha. Who makes their soldiers wear a miniskirt and heels when fighting?
I actually liked this article a lot when I saw it. I've seen all kinds of cosmo-esq types of articles that say porn makes men less attracted to their wives, but this article was straightforward and said it's not true at all. haha it's kind of a relief. To answer the question, I believe I started looking at porn in 5th grade, when I was 11.
@sexncookies@xanga - I started masturbating at like age 6. It was awful because I had no idea what it was and I had to talk to my mom about it. *facepalm* Talk about embarrassing!
I sought out porn when I was 10 or 11. Shit... I have porn streaming websites right in front of me. I collect really well drawn hentai comics of my favorite anime/video games. Meh.
LOL. i've only done it once, by accident. those popups! I didnt knew what it was so i clicked it. [girl giving a blow job] and i was just like "hey that looks like a sausage, but it's not LOL.
o i so vividly remember this... i was much muich younger than 10 (probably 6) when my brother was watching porn... so i watched as well and our mom totally walke din on us.... i was only 6 and i was soooo embarassed!
