Heidi Klum & Seal: Most Romantic Holiday Proposal of All Time!
Since the holiday season is one of the most popular times for engagements, MyRegistry.com thought we would reminisce about the ultimate celebrity holiday proposal story courtesy of Heidi Klum and Seal.
Here's the unbelievable story: Seal whisked the supermodel off to the top of a glacier in the Canadian Rockies by helicopter (wait, it gets better!), where a romantic set-up complete with rose petals, candles, food and champagne was waiting for them (here comes the kicker...) inside a custom made igloo! No wonder the couple celebrates their anniversary by renewing their vows each year!

Haha, my boyfriend held up a Taco Bell packet that said, "Will you marry me?" on it...over webcam...
Heidi Klum and Seal are America's official example of true love. I call it!
He told me everything that annoyed him about me and said it made him sure he wanted me everyday because it didn't get to him. He had music and flowers and it was pretty damn perfect.
My husband flied his personal jet around in the sky and made the "Marry me?" line with the clouds.
Just kidding.
Standard 1. He proposed in class. I cried.
I personally think that a proposal shouldn't be too over the top.
But then again, I'm more of a realist than a romantic.

My (now) husband and I were watching Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburnbecause it's our favorite movie. As soon as it was over, he pulled a Crackerjacks box out of a drawer, got down on a knee, and asked me to marry him. He had put the ring in the box.
He had also written a poem for me using Audrey Hepburn's movie titles. It began, "You are My Fair Lady..."
Pretty much the best proposal ever. Heidi can have her igloo.
As if we're THAT rich.
P.S. I think it's beautiful to see how much both Heidi and Seal love each other. I *love* interracial relationships.

My husband and I were pretty poor at the time and we had discussed getting married. On my break from work he walked me around the mall to a jewelry store to show me the rings he was looking at. He pointed at several, asking if I liked them, then said well that isn't it. Then he pointed one last time and there was a ring in the box that said Darla (which is his nickname for me, because he use to sing you are so beautiful to me and it reminds me of the little rascals) will you marry me. It was sweet, and unique. The first ring he ever gave me, he made a twisty tie into a ring. When you really love someone money doesn't matter.
what are those scars on his face from?
they're cute... but she can do a lot better imo.
