There once lived a business man and his wife in the countryside. Now the husband constantly travels and never takes his wife with him, claiming that she will be a nuisance and get in the way. She has cried and pleaded with him before about not wanting to be left by herself all the time but he doesn't listen, so out of despair and loneliness, she took on a lover.
One day when the husband announced that he had to go on another weekend business trip, the wife again begged him to take her. He said no and left. She gets upset and goes over the bridge to the other side of town to seek comfort in her lover's arms.
Two days later, the wife gets ready to go home before her husband returns. As she goes to the bridge, she sees a suspicious looking man standing there with a knife. Scared, she tried to find another way across. She sees the boat man and asked him to please take her across the river. The boat man told her she has to pay the fare.
The wife didn't have any money on her so she goes back to her lover's house and asks for money to pay the boat man. The lover said "No" because she came here on her own and he never asked her to, so why should he give her money? She goes back to the boatman and begged him to help her out of the goodness of his heart. He wanted to pity her but he had to feed his family as well and said he really couldn't give a free ride when he can take a person paying. Out of desperation, she decides to take a chance and runs across the bridge. The man kills her.

I can't see the answers on your site if you have friend's lock on it. :/
1-Assassin, 2-Lover 3-Boatman 4-wifey 5-husband
My head is reeling. I can't decide who is more at fault.
1- husband
2- assassin
3- wife
4- boater
5- lover
1. Wife, she is responsible for her own decisions.
2. Husband, he neglected her.
3. Assasin, obviously he murders people.
4. Lover, he knew what he was doing was wrong, and could have helped her at least.
5. Boat man, I really don't think he's much at fault, of course he could have prevented her murder but he was looking out for his family.
1-assassin
2- husband
3- wife
4-lover
5-boatman
the Assassin
the Wife
the Lover
the Husband
the Boatman
@Insomnia_Pickles_XtraTomato@xanga - actually switch husband wife; she is more at fault for her own decisions, despite he's a negligent a-hole
Assassin: he actually did the killing he is responsible for the wifes death.
Wife: If she wasn't cheating she would not have had to cross the bridge.
Husband: Maybe if he had taken him with her she wouldn't have cheated then again she might have any way.
Lover: He was just being a jerk.
Boat Man: He was just trying to make a living
In the story it doesn't say that the wife tells either her lover or the boatman that her life may be in danger because there is a man with a knife. If she had either one of these two may have been able to prevent her death.
1. Assassin.
2. Wife.
3. Lover.
4. Husband.
5. Boatman.
1. Assassin. He actually killed the wife, and why??
2. Wife. She should have left her husband if she was so unhappy instead of cheating.
3. Husband. He's a jackass.
4. Lover. He's also a jackass.
5. Boatman. He was just doing his job and trying to support his family!
1. assassin
2. wife
3. lover
4. husband
5. boatman

2. Wife
3. Husband
4. Lover
5. Boatman
(Last four are more flexible to me, but it seems obvious that the man who physically killed her is most at fault. He went and did it when she had done nothing to him. None of the others are prosecutable by law, but he is.)
1. Killer
2. Lover
3. Wife
4. Boatman
5. Husband
1. Assassin,
2. Wife
3. Lover
4. Husband
5. Boat man
Husband

To anyone who wants the answer, you can find the same story here: http://www.personalityquiz.net/relational/whodidit.htm

2. lover
3. husband
4. assassin
5. wife
1. assassin--he murdered her
2. wife--she shouldn't have cheated
3. boatman--although he was trying to make a living, under the circumstances he should have taken her across
4. lover--he should have given her the money so she would be safe
5. husband--he should have spent more time with his wife but that didn't give her the right to cheat on him
2. Wife.
3. Lover.
4. Boatman.
5. Assassin.
Way to go putting a lock on your Xanga. Desperate for friends much?
Is it the Husband, the Wife, the Lover, the Assassin, or the Boatman?
1. The Wife - Guilty because of her decisions, she regrets the most because she still suffers in the end.
2. The Boatman - At least he pitied the wife, but he knew he had to feed his family. This means he had some "heart" in him.
3. The Lover - Come on. seriously, he didn't give her money and she probably ran to him asking for money for a REASON. She was in danger and he neglected her as well. But atleast he was there when she needed him...sometimes.
4. The Husband - Was never there for her. He probably wouldn't had noticed she was missing anyway.
Assassin - Obviously, he would've killed her in sight anyway, had
nothing to do with the "triangle". Wrong timing. He didn't feel guilt.
