When Is It Inappropriate to Use Your iPhone?
Blackberry and iPhone addiction is a common occurrence in this day and age. And believe me I am fully aware of the allures of BBM. But there are just some times when it is not OK to whip out your iPhone and browse for new apps. Such as: at the dinner table, in the middle of a conversation, in bed with your SO. These are all instances that do not call for a Blackberry to be present.
This flowchart (which can be made bigger and easier to read if you click on the link) maps out the times when smart phones are and are not appropriate.
source"Does it involve catapulting penguins through rings of fire? Probably inappropriate, but arguably worth it!" This flowchart is stunningly accurate.
Is your SO a smart phone abuser? When are some times that they have busted out their iPhone at a completely inappropriate moment?
For example: check out this guy that took out his phone to change his Facebook relationship status to "married" while still standing at the altar. Before he even kissed his bride! Oh technology, you have truly taken over all that is sacred in this world, even a couple's wedding day.

I loved the flow chart I would like to get a poster of that and put it in me and my hubbys bedroom, I have a bad habit of using my phone during inappropriate moments
My current (maybe ex) fuck buddy takes out his phone CONSTANTLY. He'll even do it sometimes while I'm in the middle of telling him something. It pisses me off.
Recently, I was having dinner with this guy (third date btw) and I went to the washroom and I guess he busted out his Blackberry. When I came back, it was visibly on the table and a few seconds later, it chimed. He looked at it, but didn't reply. I'd never text in front of him. I've always taken the courtesy to give him my undivided attention. Call me old-fashioned.
Haha. I would never waste money on this crap, and cannot relate. But I am amused, at the very least.
Interesting chart.
That video of the guy... ha! Talk about Facebook and phone addict.
This is hilarious (:
Where are these flowcharts coming from? I saw one the other day about cereal!that flow chart is hysterical! i love it.
LOVE the wedding. :DD Whahaha.
That video was adorable. My bf is socially awkward and uses his phone when we're with a group of people he's unfamiliar with so he looks like he's doing something and can't talk to them.
LOL. Hilarious! When my bf first got his iphone, that was his "baby". Forget everything else in our lives... the phone was key. I even got agitated when I would be using it and he'd ask for it back, or someone would txt him cause I was in the middle of a game. Haha.... its worn off though thankfully. Its fun to play games together on though. Technology is awesome when its not abused - like in that video - seriously?!?! Is nothing sacred? (*ignoring the fact that I debate the sanctity of marriage on a daily basis =P )
That video has been posted everywhere. It wasn't just the groom -- the bride took out HER phone to update her Twitter at the same time. It was a joke. :p
if my boyfriend whipped out his phone while on the alter i'd be pissed
My boyfriend is in loooooove with his new iphone and it was me who had to convince him that it was much more powerful and user friendly than his old phone. We do lie in bed together and play games together though, I have an itouch and he has his iphone but most of the time we don't bring them out.
"it's official on facebook, it's official on my book" haha cute<3!
haha the video
