"This is a common issue for couples, as men's testosterone peaks between 7 and 8 a.m. and women's peaks in the evening," says REDBOOK Love Network expert Michele Weiner-Davis, founder of . Weiner-Davis suggests that you discuss how you can make sure
both of your needs are being taken care of. "If you have sex twice a week, each of you should be willing to do it once at the time of day when the other is feeling randy," she says. "And if you're really exhausted or in a rush when he approaches you, say no, but suggest that tomorrow morning will work."
Find ways to get yourself feeling hotter at daybreak: "Try brushing your teeth or set your alarm five minutes earlier so your senses have a chance to wake up," Weiner-Davis says. "And to up the chances that he'll be receptive to nighttime advances, eat a light dinner and read something sexy together." And no matter what time it is, Weiner-Davis notes, you'll often get into the groove once you get going — so just do it. You'll be glad you did.
My man loves to get it on in the morning, but I'm raring to go at night. How can we sync up our sex appetites?

...didn't what you posted clarify how to do that? A lot of couples don't have identical sex schedules; it's not a huge deal. I like afternoon sex. My husband likes late night sex. We vary on wanting morning sex. You just go with the flow - if you're not in the mood, try it anyway. A little bit of foreplay and I'm always as ready to go as he is.
Founder of what? Oh, and morning sex is the best kind.
Me and My boyfriend... well, we're always ready.
No matter what time.
Well, he is all the time... >.<
that's pretty easy just do it from morning until night and you're covered both ways...duh...
.....what!?
have both back to back!
I always feel rushed in the morning. I like evening sex better. : )
OMG I loooove morning sex even tho my husband and i dont do it often, but its deffinitly a special treat when it does happen

When you really think about it, kissing is pretty gross.
It involves saliva and mucous membranes, and it may have historical
roots in chewed-up food. Experts estimate that hundreds or even
millions of bacterial colonies move from one mouth to another during
a kiss. Doctors have also linked kissing to the spread of diseases
like meningitis, herpes and mononucleosis.

Why Kissing is Good for You!
Believe
it or not, your diet can play a key role in quickly and efficiently
how to make hair grow back. Hair is just an after product of some of
the body's basic functions. If your body isn't healthy, your hair
won't be. Poor nutrition often leads to thinning, and in a lot of
cases, hair will actually fall out because a person is not consuming
the right foods.
Women
Can Smell a Man's Intentions
Scientists have long debated whether
humans, like animals, use chemical signals called pheromones to
communicate sexual interest to potential mates. Problem is, the
effects of pheromones
are thought to be subconscious — meaning that if we do communicate
using them, we sure don't know it. It's also hard to know what these
pheromones might be and how we sense them, so researchers understand
little about them.
I say, have a glass of juice or fruit or candy or something sweet next to the bed so that you can combat morning breath with out ever having to get up.
How about this? If a guy wants to have sex in the morning, try DOING something to get her in the mood, instead of just rolling over and pointing to your boner. Maybe I'm simple, but a little attention on me wouldn't be refused.
@BoStOnIaNMoMmY@xanga - Agreed. I'm still half-asleep usually when we start so it's dream-like haha.
Also, LOL @ Weiner-Davis. Anyway, do it even when you're not in the mood for it. Most of the time I can get myself in the mood after we've started. If you're in a long-term, meaningful relationship together you should be willing to please him and vice versa. Meaning when you are in the mood you're gonna expect him to fulfill that need whether he's in the mood for it or not. You'd feel pretty shitty if he rejected you, right? Works both ways. =]
"If you have sex twice a week..." - that's awfully sad.
Why does anyone need to get in the mood for it?!
It's the opposite for me and my boyfriend. He hates morning sex. I love it. He always wants to mess around at night when he's had like three naps in a day and I've worked twelve hours nonstop. Geez.
I love wake-up sex, too. But my boyfriend is bad to wake up because he lashes out at anything that bumps him, so if I tried to wake him up with a BJ or something, he'd punch me in the head. Romance in this situation = nonexistent.
My man's ready to go at any time...well, so am I. Some some times are sweeter than others. I do like morning smexin's.
I think the article's suggestions that you quoted are pretty good advice, especially because I find brushing my teeth and washing up in the morning wakes me up at least a little. Get up before he wakes up and splash some cool water on your face, wash up, feel fresh and clean. Also, coffee does help boost a woman's libido--maybe make a quick cup or even just make a pot so you have the aroma wafting through the house (idk, it wakes me up).
If you get really into it you'll be energized and focused for the rest of the day ;3
@i_r_keiko@xanga - Oh dear. My boyfriend would be so happy if I woke him up with a BJ. Now, he wouldn't punch me in the face, but he does do martial arts in his sleep for some reason. It gets dangerous sleeping next to him XD
@wizard_howl@xanga - Haha, it is kinda funny to have to shake him and duck because he wakes up with pure shock in his eyes and will just punch whatever he sees first...but it definitely diminishes my opportunities to give him a nice surprise.
Exact same situation. My husband is all for it in the morning but I like to get it on at night. He complains that after a long day of work and school, all he wants to do is watch his favorite TV shows and pass out. I, on the other hand, also have a busy schedule and I can't think of a better way to relieve exhaustion and stress then to get freaky at the end of the day.
At one point, we pretty much gave up sex altogether but now we alternate. I realized it can be nice to have sex in the morning and cuddle and then get ready for the day. As opposed to doing it at night sometimes, after sex, I just doze off.
my boyfriend wants to do it all of the time. morning, day, evening, night, middle of the night, etc. i, on the other hand, am just a night person. he REALLY wants it in the morning. and sometimes i am willing, but i just feel gross in the morning, my hair is all gross, i haven't brushed my teeth, and if i forgot to wash my makeup off the night before (which i usually do forget) then i look like a raccoon in a hurricane. i can't have sex when i don't feel pretty, and i almost NEVER feel pretty, maybe that's why i don't want it as much as he does.
I don't like the implication in this article that the best way to "sync up" is to do what he wants. Partners should be equal, and have equal say in when sex occurs and what it's like.
@Restless_In_Honolulu@xanga - HAHAHAh omg, I SO completely agree lol...
@i_r_keiko@xanga - Lol... I have the same problem with my boyfriend. I've tried waking him up... I've gotten punched in the face (lightly... more of a fist tossing motion towards my face... haha) & more often its my hand being pushed away as he makes grunty, annoyed sleeping noises. Definitely no fun =
This advice is stupid. They say basically to just stick it out? I have some better advice. If you want it in the morning and your partner isn't in the mood, get them in the mood. Kiss them on their neck, initiate some light foreplay, all that good stuff. You know, all the ways you'd normally try to turn someone on.
do both. i love both. hahaha.
I am pretty sure that this has something to do with the fact that sports are on in the evening lol!
We don't live together nor do I ever sleep over soooo both are nonexistant lol. One day...
My man wants it all the time, anytime. He does like morning sex, but usually we're too rushed in the morning. We almost ALWAYS have sex before we go to sleep though...something about being in bed together just makes it happen.
Even if you don't always want to have sex in the morning...do it sometimes anyway. Even if he doesn't always want to have sex at night...he should do it anyway, too. Relationships are about compromise, and honestly - who doesn't like good sex? ;)
