2. Getting good morning/goodnight messages from their boyfriends!

4. Having romantic candlelit dinners prepared by the guys once in a while
It doesn't have to be in high-class places, DIY candlelit dinners in parks or beaches will do the same trick as well, especially with lesser people around...
5. Telling them that they are the most beautiful girl in your eyes even without make-up on
Accept them for who they are and do not try to change them.
6. They might be your other half, but
you do not own them, not until maybe marriage though! Allow them to be themselves. After all, you do like them for who they are, don't you?
7. Bringing her out with your guy friends.It means that the guy is not afraid to show his girl off to his friends8. Trust them, allow them to party all they want with their girlies without you. wow this list is everything i don't do, and everything my boyfriend does for me...i feel terrible now....
agreed but my ex sometimes forgot our anniversary and i didn't mind. he's a guy. otherwise it's cute.

#2 and #11 are my favorites with ANY boyfriend :) especially the little random notes. And it's always fun to find one randomly in my book or bag saying something really simple like "Hi Lily" lol :)
And maybe it's just me, but I love getting cute voicemails... Just something funny or random. One time, a boyfriend sang a verse of a song in one of my voicemails. Hahaha. He wasn't the best singer but it made me happy :)
I dunno... I mean every girl (and guy) loves when these things are done, but I feel like they don't necessarily show love. Trust, honesty, communication, emotions, and just general caring show actual love. The other things are nice but if the person doesn't do them... it doesn't mean that they don't love you.

Aside from the "you don't own them until maybe marriage", I like this list! Especially the holding hands & hugging in public & remembering anniversaries. I dont like guys who act macho in public & wont hug their girls or anything like that. It makes it seem like they're embarrassed to be in a relationship. As for anniversaries, I think birthdays, marriages/day you met (if you're dating) & other major milestones should be remembered. I wont get mad if they wont remember the "date we went on to celebrate X". It's mostly girls who go for that but major things should be thought of.

the list seems simple enough, yet most guys will probably forget about the simple things while trying to think of better ways to show his love. I guess this is a good way to show that extravagant expressions of love dont always outweigh the simpler things in life

I'm just lucky we are together but we've been through alot that other people don't have to go through such as long distance, age difference, parental interference, etc. It equals it out, I guess :)

#2 and #5 and #16 really mean a lot to me, especially being in a long-distance relationship. I love it when my bf lets me know he's thinking of me throughout the day, even it's just a quick email or text saying, "HI beautiful!" As of lately, that hasn't happened too often. He's a busy guy. But it's still it's nice to know that amongst all his other thoughts I'm crammed somewhere in there and that that the thought of me makes him smile...

This list is great...my boyfriend basically does all but 4 and 7 but I am finally meeting his friends this winter break.
How about writing letters and poems occasionally? My boyfriend also sends me postcards whenever he travels for meetings. Nothing gets my heart beating faster than receiving those in the mail. =)
