What Defines Dating? Not Lil' Wayne.

Dating is a form of courtship, and may include any social activity undertaken by, typically, two people with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as their partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The word refers to the act of meeting and engaging in some mutually agreed upon social activity.
Now; my problem is. dating is only a generalization to what is included in dating. S of course you wont be saying "exactly" what you're doing.

So if you want to be like Lil' Wayne and wish you could f*ck every girl in the world; that's not dating. People do have sex days upon meeting each other (I should know). But that does NOT make it dating.
So if you want to get technical, when you're younger; "dating" is a more acceptable because you merely don't know what the hell you want, and "dating" is the period of time which you are single (because you are NOT dating a person you're with). Which would imply if you're still dating someone you're with; you would be cheating on him/her with "dating".
The way "dating" is defined and accepted by society; it's acceptable to "do you (and others)" but it's simply called dating because you're ashamed with your behavior (in which if you are, you shouldn't be doing it).
My point; if you're trying to find that person, that's what it is. If you're simply f*cking someone, then it's just f*cking someone. If you're simply weighing your options, then that's what it is.
Dating; as a term is generalized, that covers up the nuances...
Now... who has a opinion?

what is it with rappers that have them thinking that they can have 12 girlfriends?
i think that fucking is just that, fucking.
if you have a girlfriend, then it means something, and you wont just consider it that.

if you go on dates...you are dating? i'd say that if you're considering a relationship but not in one, that's dating. do with said time as you like.

but ahh i think i agree with your point. if you're just trying to get ass you cant really call it dating, but if you're going out with people to get to know them and evaluate their potential as a future partner, then yes, thats dating.

He does what he does because he can and it is what he chooses to do, and from my position on nature and the laws accorded to the strong I can respect that; but I myself, poor (now) or wealthy one day, will always prefer the beauty of love to a long illustrious list of lovers.

Rappers are talking about f'ing not dating. It's now called a hook up, I think when people just f each other. There's much more to dating than sex. Now what defines music? Not Lil' Wayne.

I agree with the main point of the post that people should not dance around and instead just be straight up. Call something what it is. But I don't understand why "dating" means you're ashamed with your behavior. If you're going on dates with someone, then aren't you dating them? I don't feel a person should always be exclusively dating; dating more than one person at the same time is okay if the people you are dating know you're doing it (in my opinion).
Rappers don't really talk about sating, they talk about fucking. If anything, rappers are the exact people that do what you say should be done; they come straight out and say, "I am fucking this girl purely for pleasure and will kick her out when I'm done getting mine."
Lil' Wayne doesn't define anything pertaining to love. He does, however, define everything that is wrong with the direction rap is going in. Now that's a topic I could talk for hours about...
