Overly tan, hair gelled to high heaven, Ed Hardy-wearing, muscles the size of Texas, loud-talking, hard-partying. All these describe every girl's dating nightmare: The Tool.
There's even a VH1 show about this sector of the dating pool where angry girlfriends bring their boyfriends in for relationship rehab. Frequently they are cheaters (one tool on the last season had hooked up with over 10 girls after starting his relationship) with anger management issues (last season, one of them would frequently punch walls or throw furniture around.)
Another famous tool is immortalized in a famous YouTube video with "
My New Haircut," a video about a guy preparing to go to and finally arriving at the bar, ready to drink some Heineken and Jaegerbombs.
I've never dated a tool, and I don't think I even know any. I would probably believe that I could change him, fix his tooly ways, but I'm sure that isn't how it would pan out.

These guys are easy to find in Orange County, haha. Ed Hardy is very overrated.
A guy doesn't necessarily have to fit that specific look to be considered a tool. I know lots of guys that I think are tools, simply based upon their personalities...or really, their lack of one.
I will never date one. They are the definition of scum. And I agree about Ed Hardy, I never saw the point in those shirts at all. They're nothing special.
The worst is seeing tools with hott chicks, while cool guys with personalities like me and my friends are single.
That picture! I somehow just became more asexual and I think my ovaries just shriveled up. There aren't enough D:'s in the world.
Also, I believe tools come in all different shapes and sizes (and even genders) so they don't necessarily have to resemble the physical monstrosity that you posted in order to be deemed a tool. That being said, I'd like to believe that tools eventually get their comeuppance when they realize that their irrationally douchey behavior hasn't done them any favors in the long run.

Sadly pretty much every white guy (or sometimes white washed guys) I've ever known falls into that category.

tool sometimes happens to guys who get tired of not getting laid. We cant all be original and loved.
i like Ed Hardy designs cause I like tattoo art and I hate that it's become synonymous with this... lifestyle, i guess, but god do i love Tool Academy.

lol *facepalm* yaeh a lot of asian guys here are tools.. gangsta wannabe tools more like. they smoke like they're awesome, they wear baggy as hell clothes, cuss a lot, and pretend they are cool.
The main picture almost made me vomit into my own mouth. I work with a tool... and he gets all the hot chicks I work with. Its something about that 'slut face'. Someone who is unattractive who has sex with everyone gets that "I get laid often'' face- and it perpetuates itself.

UHH that guy was FUUUUGLYYYYY!!!! i hate guys like that. i would sock a guy like that flat in the face if i encountered him. my ex bf is fit and drink jägerbombs, but if he ever gave me that 'tude he's be in big trouble.

Haha. I lived in Jersey for a year... oh those boys are everywhere there... I could never date one. I might've liked one when I was... sixteen, lol, but now most of the time I just want to tell them to shut up and that they aren't cool.
