112-year Old Man Marries a 17-year Old Girl
Okay that's like, 95 years of age difference... A man from Somalia, Ahmed Muhamed Dore, just married a 17-year old girl. This is his 6th marriage. The man has had 5 other wives and has 18 kids. He would like to have some more children with his new wife, he says. He's already got 100 grandchildren. His oldest son is 80 years old. Three of his wives have passed away.
The bride's family says that she's very happy with her new husband. Hundreds of people were there to attend the wedding. He says he didn't force the 17-year old girl to marry her. He simply used his experience to show her how much he loves her.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this should be illegal, even if it's Somalia we're talking about? Do you think the bride was forced to do this, was she desperate or is it true love?

We are facing culture shock, but it's different cultures like some of us said. We have to understand, not have prejudice against this. As long as the woman is not opposed to it, it's alright.
I think people should marry whoever they want to for whatever reason they think is appropriate.
I'm sorry, but this is just one reason why the world is over-populated. I'm not knockin their culture or way of life, but come on! And the excerpt says she's very happy with her new husband...be she dont look all that happy!!
