My husband and I are married not because I said, "I do," but because he said, "I'll do it." - Victoria Grantham
This woman's story of how her now-husband planned their entire wedding right down to the very last napkin holder made me wonder if I would ever let my fiance plan our wedding. I let my imagination run and this is how I pictured our wedding would turn out if I gave him complete control...
The dress and tuxedo:
As much boob as possible for easy access come the wedding night. And a tuxedo t-shirt for him. He wants to be comfortable on the most important day of his life. It also gives him better mobility come time for the first dance... to Justin Bieber's "
One Less Lonely Girl" .... Romantical.
The cake:
It was a choice between this or the football-themed wedding cake. But who doesn't love Super Mario? Plus, he knows I always secretly envied Princess and Mario's relationship. I should consider this a compliment that he compared me to her. The highest of honors on our wedding day. I'll be saving that Toad top in the freezer for years to show to our children one day.
The honeymoon:
Vegas, of course! To prove to ourselves that marriage isn't going to be a drag and we can still party like rockstars. And so he can attempt to win back all the money he spent on his very own dream wedding!
Would you let your fiance plan the wedding? How do you think it would turn out?

if i got to plan the wedding (or even have any say in it) it might be not completely cliche and lame. i want a zombie wedding cake, dancing, and no fucking harpists. i want black metal guitarists played by bloody vikings.
If my guy planned the entire wedding it would be fashionably forward and very classy. I would trust him to do it. Would I actually let him? No. While he's classy and smart, our tastes differ and me and him need to agree on something like a wedding day.
haha. my boyfriend would probably do a better job than me. i am not into all that girlyness!
if we ever got married, his cousin promised she would plan everything. lol.xo
I can't wait to plan my wedding. Of course I think part of the fun is doing it together.
I would want him to help out. I don't know how I'd feel about him just taking over and doing everything himself. I think both people should plan for it. It's their day, so why not?
hell no, I dont want to no what would happen ><
Haha, if it were up to my boyfriend and me, we would show up in jeans and T-shirts.
Hahaha. Nice. :D
When I plan my wedding, I'll be planning it with my fiance. We'll have equal say in what happens. I do want my wedding to be fun, though. Weddings just seem so boring sometimes. I hope mine is actually enjoyable. It's supposed to be a happy celebration, so why go traditional and put people to sleep?
Only thing that's made sense in this entire blog is Vegas. You can elope dressed like bums or look like dumb and dumber with the blue and orange tux's. Then you can go to the buffet and feast for 25$.
lol, my boyfriend and all both want pretty much the same thing for our wedding so it's not like trusting him would be against my better judgement.
Hahahaha! Yeah right, give the man control. That's funny.
I just want a simple wedding, I don't want a lot of planning to be necessary. I'd like to plan it together, though I doubt my boyfriend would want to get involved, lol.
That cake is awesome, though!
My first thought was... "It'd be terrifying." Wow - you were right, I think you summed it up nicely!
Gotta love that cake!
oh that is a definite no.
We'll plan our wedding together, thank you very much,
I WOULD LOVE THE MARIO CAKE. I was sad I did not have enough to pay someone to do a sweet cake like that
=(
LOL great post. i don't think we guys should touch any of this stuff. when we were young, we fought with wooden swords made from tree branches. (most) girls played house and wedding day. haha, i think if i had a fiance, she'd shoot me before we even got to the alter if i told her i was making all the arrangements.
i agree with all the arrangements mentioned above. haha that's how i'd do it!
Lol, awesome. I don't know. I think I COULD, but if so I'd want to censor just a little bit. My husband actually did plan our wedding I guess, lol, it was a civil ceremony, and he was in his dress greens. His best friend and his best friend's little sister were there, still in snowboarding attire from earlier that day when they'd all been on the mountain.
I think it's important to a lot of girls to be able to plan their dream weddings.
Oh god, I WISH my boyfriend would plan our wedding! I have no idea where to even start!
HELL YEA I WOULD.
Let my boyfriend/fiance (kinda, sorta lol money main factor =P) would be a lot better at it than me, and in addition to that?
I'm like the typical romantic dude. but in a girl's body. I want it to be the best day of his life. I want it to be all he can dream of.
hey, i bought my bf flowers and showed up to his school with them. I love doing little things that'll put a smile on that face of his or just to see him blush....
at any rate, if he planned it? I'd be happy knowing he got everything he wanted. And I would be happy knowing I could afford it. lmao
LOL! nice cake.
LOL XD id prolly plan it together with him :)
although knowing him he prolly wldnt want nething to do with it xD
I would like it if we planned it together..I would like to hear his idea's..Wemon and such do it all the time I wouldnt mind seeing what ideas he had.Now if he had it tottally outlandish and not origanol wedding..I would talk with him about it. ^^;;; I'm a fan of the origanol look of weddings. =3
I would let my current boyfriend plan our wedding if we got engaged. It would be simple...just the way I want it.
...but I would really prefer it we would plan it together.
