Types of Misters to Stay With
This is my response blog to Types of Misters to stay away from. Instead of a list of misters to stay with, this is a list of types of men all women should keep in their lives.
1. Mr. Best Friend
He is always there no matter whatever kind of shit is going on in your life. He doesn't necessarily have to be someone you have a crush on or even find attractive. You talk to him about all your boyfriend problems and he is always a great shoulder to cry on. You have probably never really noticed him but maybe you will now. Beware.... never turn Mr. Best Friend into your boyfriend without seriously thinking about it. If it doesn't work out things will never be the same between you two.2. Mr. Polite
He always opens doors for you, never swears/farts or burps in front of you, whenever he meets your dad he shakes his hands and always compliments your mother's cooking. Please and thank you are his favorite sayings. Gentlemen are a dying breed - Keep him in your life.3. Mr. Older Brother
Normally not your actually brother but more of a friend who protects and looks after you like he is your older brother. When guys treat you like shit he just asks "what's his name?" and that he will deal with it. He can sometimes annoy the fuck out of you, and act mean but you know he doesn't really mean it. An older brother figure is always a great to have in your life.4. Mr. Sex Buddy
Be VERY careful!!!! If it's no strings attached sex you want he is a plus in your life. If you're secretly craving a relationship you need to stay away from him because you will fall for him and you will end up hurt. Sex buddies are only good if it's just sex.5. Mr. Actually has a Future.
So he might have a shit job when you first meet him but you need to see past that. No one just lands their dream job on the first interview they go to. You need to keep him in your life because how I figure it is if he will put up with a shitty job, he will more than likely put up with our shit too. Stay away from Mr. Likes Having a Shit Job- you need to take time to find out which of the 2 he is.6. Mr. Perfectly Imperfect.
He is more than likely not going to appear on any of my lists but going to be a mixture of a little bit of everything. The most important thing to remember is it doesn't matter what he might behave like sometimes all that matters is he loves, cares and respects you how you deserve to be. I have managed to find someone who I love more than anything in this world. He isn't perfect, he is actually far from it but I love him for him and that's all I care about.
No one is perfect, no one will ever be perfect but that's the beauty of the world.Do you have any of these types of men in your life? Are you one of these types?

Ok...so I've had a bunch of #4s but they always turn out bad...so I can do without a #4.
I've had all in my life at one point or another, but no Mr. #4. my SO is Mr. Best Friend <3
Im too much of an emotional clingy person to have a number 4. My SO has been my best friend for going on 7 years now though.
I would not want #2. When guys are overly polite it bugs me.
My boyfriend is 2,5, and 6. I have close friends who are 1 and 3. My one close friend from high school always offers to beat up anyone who makes me cry. He says all he needs to know is his name and where he lives. hahah
@steph - mine too :) he was #2 when we first started dating and he was meeting my parents and whatnot, but after that we got comfortable around each other and it was out the window, haha.
The perfect imperfection is the best. You love their flaws because that is what makes them who they are.
I have a Mr. Best Friend. We've been best friends for over 4 years and we live far away from each other so that is extra special! We don't have any romantic interest in each other [both of us have SOs] so there's no problem with that.
I don't have a tough guy Mr. Older Brother, but I do have a real older brother who's not necessarily a testosterone monster, but has good intentions for me nevertheless.
I wouldn't want a Mr. Sex Buddy. That's like asking for trouble. Why separate emotional and physical needs when it's entirely encompassed in an SO?

I can act like all of them, but I am most likely the Best Friend and Polite guy. Friendships are sacred to me and even if we broke up, I still want to be their friend.
This list, of course, speaks of generalities.
However, I strongly don't support the inclusion of #4 in this list.

Sex Buddy. Didn't work because he (not me) could't keep it just sex. That experience and the ridiculous thump as they falll in love over emails on computer dating makes me sometimes think males are the more romantic and emotional of our species. .

My boyfriend is r, he absolutely drives me up the wall sometimes but he is my Everything, my Everytype, and he keeps me sane.
Perfection is so incredibly over-rated, people deemed as perfect are, well never ever Actually perfect, they tend towards dull and very full of themselves.

He would be my soulmate to the end of time~
number four shouldn't even be here. why stay with someone like that when they're just going to use you.
but yes, i have friends like those in my life. mr.best-freind, and mr.older-brother are my loves. i love them to death! :)
mr.actually has a future gets on my nerves. all he talks about is how rich his parents are and how he gets free shit because he's going to a university.
