Q. I'm a freshman girl currently living in a dorm. My roommate wants me and my boyfriend to stop having sex in our dorm room. Period. This isn't a case of "no sex while I'm there." We've arranged it now so we only do it when she's home (off campus), and there's no chance of her walking in on us. She feels uncomfortable having him in the room at all, even if we're just sitting and talking...as well as uncomfortable being in the room where the deed was done. I wonder if she has realized how old this dorm in and how much stuff could have potentially gone down already.
We've had a few issues about my boyfriend. Initially we had agreed that as long as my boyfriend and I (she doesn't have a significant other) don't do anything more than sit on the bed and play games (VIDEO GAMES) then it's cool. Then one day she reneges on our roommate agreement and says that she doesn't like having him in the room at all, but when she's out then it's cool. I conceded, thinking it wasn't a big deal.
Then she got her parents involved, they "contacted the proper authorities," ...whatever that means. This all happened while I was at home over the weekend, and I suddenly find myself arranged to meet with the Resident Advisor here.
I'd like some advice on how to handle this. She's even talking about roommate reassignment! And I'm pretty damned sure that she's not talking about her moving out! Please help me out!
