Secret Girlfriends Throughout History
The concept of secret girlfriends is one I've never thought too much about. I guess it's just a much gentler term for "mistress" or "cheating whore." I ran across this article about secret girlfriends throughout history and had a good chuckle. The list includes women such as:
Marilyn Monroe
Monica Lewinsky
Stephanie Birkitt (David Letterman's not-so-secret-anymore girlfriend)
Who are some other secret girlfriends in history? Personally, I believe they should have added Angelina Jolie to that list. I still feel for Jennifer. I wonder if she saw it coming...

"Cheating whore" is pretty harsh and judgemental, but whatevs, I've come to expect that.
I heard Marylin Monroe had a super secret girlfriend (well, fling), Joan Crawford. It's somewhere in there, but the whole article is pretty interesting

i dont think any of these are secret marylin monroe was a known...erh...grl popular with taken men. and lewinsky? seriously?
i was a kid when the shit hit the fan and i remember her being all over th news. my definition of secret is sth hidden from the public eye. if any of these were secret, none of us would know abt them.

People need to chill out with the whole other woman/other man thing. We have no idea what the dynamics of the relationships are that are involved, and even if we do, it's none of our business.
There were so many mistresses throughout history. Most of them did right by their title though, and remained private lovers.
