Sorry I Ate Your Pets
Throwing their clothes out the window, keying their car, ordering 500 pizza's to their address and making them pay for it. These are all normal manifestations of anger and revenge when dealing with an ex-SO. However one angered woman from Pasadena, Texas took her act of vengeance to a whole new level of insanity in the form of a homemade seafood dinner. According to the Associated Press, a dispute between a woman and her ex-husband over some jewelry turned into a case of animal cruelty when the woman took the seven pet goldfish from her ex-husband's house and cooked them for dinner.
"Officers who were dispatched to the woman's home arrived to find four fried goldfish on a plate. The woman said she already ate the other three."
This may top the woman who poured scalding water on her husband's private parts. Actually, I take that back. Nothing's worst than a fried groin.
Thoughts on frying up the family pets? Would you ever go this far? Or was she just eating one huge plate of crazy?

Lol, she sounds pretty crazy. I'd never go that far. Poor goldfish :(
The woman must be insane.
wow I'm speechless...
I didn't even know goldfish was edible?!?WTF?
I doubt her goldfish were at fault for their dispute D:
HA! That's one big plate of CRAZY! Ew. Do goldfish have anything on them to eat, anyways? She's crazy to eat them, and crazier to use that for revenge!
500 pizzas? That's a pretty good idea...
But really? I mean...I just don't understand how eating goldfish is animal cruelty, but eating cows isn't? This might spark a whole other debate, but what is the difference between eating a cow and eating a goldfish (in ethical terms)?
I'm not suggesting that we start selling them as food, only that if we are going to eat meat (which we should, but it is yummy) how can we say that one animal is ok and another is not? If a goldfish is a "pet" is killing your "pet" cow animal cruelty while killing a cow from a commercial farm not?
If anything this should have been a theft-type thing.
It's not like I have the desire to eat my pets, but I definitely don't think that there should be a law against it.
When I first heard this I laughed and laughed. She must've been hungry or something.
I agree with above; how is it different from eating any other animals pig, cow etc? Although, I still find it wrong that she ate the goldfish. Considering I'm a vegeterian and I think it was very wrong of her to do that for revenge. I'd go insane if anyone ate my pets, I love my pets - my pets are family. Got that? And you don't touch them. It was wrong of her to do this, but like I said how is it any different from the people who are eating pigs and cows etc?
That's just... weird. And apparently, they don't taste very good anyway.
She has a plate of crazy with a side of restraining order.
gross. I don't think a goldfish would taste very good
people are wondering how eating goldfish is any different from eating cows, pigs, etc... it's not about the type of animal it's about the fact that they were pets. that's how it's different. and damn thank God they didn't have a dog or a cat.
The whole situation is ridiculous in a funny way. lol.
I...wow. Oh, wow. Haha. I really don't know what to say to that, honestly.
Uhm, the ciiiircle of liiiiife...
Well, um, they're goldfish. I doubt they have much meat on them in the first place. And um, if you eat fish.... I get that they were someone's pet, but really? Gross, and clearly stealing, but I don't know about calling animal control or anything like that.
OUCH!!!!!
I'd rather order the 500 pizzas than eat goldfish for revenge!
Well, it was probably hefty size goldfish in that fish tank, otherwise she wasted all that oil...
ohh...those poor fishies!
My ex hurt my chihuahua, Sox when he was 5 mos. old. We broke up that night. I told him never to hurt my puppy again, the chihuahua was 4 pounds...and a 300 pound BOY had no right throwing him! The dog didn't do anything wrong! I was infuriated.
O M G what a B*** why on earth would you do something like that... as a petfish owner id slap her silly!
There are many other ways to get even that dont involve the harming of animals. Atleast leave the harm between yourselfs not your kids not your pets not your friends.
Good thing she wasn't korean and dogs weren't around?
Before you send the hate my way, I'm korean.
Wow, yeah she's lost it. Poor fish!
Poor fish
Nooo, thats pathetic!
strange and petty, but not "animal cruelty." people eat fish all the time.
that would devastate me...not that i'd have fish for pets, but still. i took my damn hamster to the vet and a lot of my friends thought i was crazy because it's a damn hamster. but i made a commitment when i bought her to take care of her so i did. i suppose it's the same thing with that guy and his fish...
@MissPixieGlitter@xanga - yes, people eat fish all the time, but not ones they bought as pets, typically. and not gold fish...you wouldn't cut up and roast the family dog, would you? or your brother's snake or whatever...they were bought to be pets and members of the family.
