Ask Me My Weight
Asking someones weight, especially a females, is such a taboo topic nowadays. Definitely not something that will score you points when trying to hit on a prospective interest.
Personally, I'm not ashamed of a number on a scale. Ask me how much I weigh and I'll tell you without hesitation. I suppose this is partially due to being a wrestler and identified by weight class.
Hello, I'm Gloria and I wrestle 54kg.
In my sport, the easiest way to strike up a conversation with a hot fit spandex clad wrestler is to inquire about their weight. What would ordinarily receive a slap from a female is the ultimate pickup line.
I don't think asking someones weight should be a turn off, if that's true than you better not ask me how tall I am, that's personal information.
Do you get offended when someone asks you what you weigh? If you were attracted to someone and then they asked your weight, would you lose interest?

I am male 6' 3" weighing 65 kgs, am i short or over?
Hmm... probably should just keep that question to themselves. it just make them seem like the other person is trying to size you up to see if your physically appealing. Its okay though if someone you know really well and trust to ask you though.
@shunny@xanga - I suppose. But I find it ridiculous when a guy asks out of mere curiousity and then the girl starts jumping to conclusions. "YOU THINK I'M FAT?"
I weigh 182. I saw you looking at my ass.
I definitely think this should not be a taboo topic. It does fit inline with the plasticity of society though. We are all barbies.
@breaking_expectations@xanga - Lol I actually understand how you feel about that. I have actually have indirectly commented on some girl's weight and she got very defensive/offensive even if I didn't mean it. Never have asked any girl about their weight since I know how sensitive of a subject it is.
@shunny@xanga - Yeah, I don't think it should be a sensitive topic and honestly it's the same as asking for any other describing number, age or height.
i don't care to tell people. it doesn't bother me until they start telling me i don't eat.
i look like i should weigh alotttt more.
@EmergencySurveys@xanga - Yeah, I agree there. It's annoying when people continue to critique on weight. I'm heavier than I look and always have to explain the whole muscle weighs more than fat thing.
You spelled contradicting wrong in your rant of intelligence
@LiquidityOfSelf@xanga - Spelling doesn't always equal intelligence.
It feels awkward to tell people my weight, partly because I don't know what it is. Hahah
mm.. i'm just underweight.
@breaking_expectations@xanga - I know, it was just really bothering me...forgive me.
@sophia@xanga - Me neither...and I plan to keep it that way lol
@LiquidityOfSelf@xanga - No problem :)
lol I think it is so funny. You can tell who is fat just by looking at them so its not like knowing somebody's exact weight should ever come as much of a surprise.
I don't like being asked my weight by people who don't know I've been struggling with it.
Fear, that's what it's called, I think.
@Fieryrabbit@xanga - Exactly. It's okay to ask height and age, which you can guess on looks, so why not weight?
I'm 120lbs, 5'5" and my measurements are...
I don't mind revealing to someone that I'm interested in
I would be offended if some random person came up on the street and asked me my weight. That's really no one's business except the people who I choose to share it to.
56kg ew haha. I would be offended if someone I barely or didn't know at all asked me, friends is fine. If it was someone I didn't know, it would seem like they thought I was overweight or something T_T
I haven't really had anyone ask me out of context what my weight was. And if they did ask, it sure as heck would have to pertain to the conversation at hand.
In a dating situation, in my opinion, that is a very, very awkward and "what the fuck?" question to ask if it was out of the blue. Yeah, I'd be weirded out as hell.
My BMI is 19 and that is all I will divulge.
I don't even think that my closest friends know how much I weight. xP
i wouldn;t slap the guy, but i;d be peeved. i weigh 49kg now, so i dunno...maybe i'll be honest about it when i lose more.
