  • "Hello. This is the Sam's Club Cart Associate You Accosted."

This past Monday I went to Sam's Club to get some things, and when I was at the register paying this really cute guy walked past me. When I walked out to my car he was taking in the shopping carts and it was so hard for me not to stare, he was so good looking!

Well, I kept thinking about him that week and even dreamed about him, so I decided to do something I never thought I'd do...

I wrote out a few drafts of a note to give him, finally deciding on this, "Umm...Hi! My name is ******. I've never done anything like this before, but I think you're really cute, so I figured, 'Why not?'. Here's my number, do what you want with it. :) ###-###-####"

On Thursday I went to see "The Ugly Truth" with my friend and we decided to go check the Sam's Club parking lot on the way to the theater. Sure enough, as soon as I pulled up he walked out of the building towards the shopping carts. I had planned to get out of the car, walk up to him and give him the note, but I chickened out.

As he was pushing a line of carts towards the building though, I drove up and stopped right in front of the opening with those heavy, plastic flaps where they take the carts. He walked up to my window and asked if I could pull forward so he could get through and I said, "Ok, but actually, this is for you." and I handed him the note and drove off very embarrassed.

Three hours later I received this text, "Hello. This is the Sam's Club Cart Associate who you so skillfully accosted and delivered your message." Ahhhh!! I was so excited! We texted each other for a little while and he asked me out on a date. Last night I met him at Starbucks and we talked and flirted for an hour and a half (would have talked longer, but I had to work) and I think it went pretty well. He's not only gorgeous, but smart, funny, and sweet. I can't wait to see what happens.

Have you ever done anything you never thought you would do? Please share!
