Miss Giraffe
When Boyfriend and I were talking, he mentioned how his boy, J, was telling his friends that boyf has an attractive girlfriend (me, in case the wording has confused you). Oh. Thank you? I was speechless for around 2 seconds before I started asking him why J would say that to his other friends. Boyf said it's sort of like hyping him up. J has friends with good-looking girlfriends and thus, basically that means that J's friends know that boyf (in this example) isn't a "clown" (aka a loser).
Oh, I see...sort of. I mean, I get the whole hyping up my friends, but I usually say, "You'll like her, she's really funny." Or, "you'll like her, you just have to make her comfortable, so try not to be a creepo for the first two times you meet her." Boyfriend/girlfriend status never really particularly mattered, honestly.
Anyway, is it just a guy thing? I'm not going crazy about it, just mildly curious. How do you hype your friends? Do you find yourself mentioning your friend's SO?

This wording made no sense to me. Maybe I'm just tired, but that was very confusing.
It really was confusing...
i understand becoz im just so awesome. but its a guy thing. yeeeeaaaaaah, go guys!
I'm confused...
My migraines are back :/
but if i read correctly, then i'd have to say that it's not necessarily a "guy thing"... it can be done by the girl too. I think hyping someone up is just fine... as long as in the end, the person who was hyped, is up to what you said...
lol i didn't think it was confusing. to answer your question, it's partially a guy thing, and partially something specific to those guys. generally speaking, if a guy has a hot bitch (or alternatively, always has bitches around him) it means he has game, and is to be respected for it. keyword being generally.
I imagine having a desirable partner would be a status-elevating sort of thing, which might be considered important in certain circles. Myself, I've never mentioned someone's relationship status when describing them, unless I was trying to stress that point.
it's not a guy thing....it's an insecurity thing.
Bitch has the best fucking rack and a tight ass pussy
Hyping a dude:
Fucking dude is $$$$$$$$$$ like crazy and is packin a giant sausage.
That was easy.
probably a guy thing. but i would never mention something like that.
Depends on the friends and how comfortable they are with the way they talk to and about each other. I've talked like J and you, it just depends on who I talk to and what I think will get through to them better.
