"Just Because" Presents
I don't know about all of you, but there is nothing I like more than presents and surprises. (Okay, maybe a few things I like more, but you get the picture.) While out running errands today, I decided to stop and buy my boyfriend a few little somethings that I knew he'd been ogling for a while online.
It was no special occasion, I just felt like doing something nice for him - kind of a "thank you for being my boyfriend" type of gift. Do any of you ever surprise your SO with gifts "just because"?

My SO lives in Denmark (and I'm in Texas) so it's kind of impossible. :)
But I defiantly do "Just Because" presents for my best friends. I know my friend Katie likes Gaia Cash Cards so I'll get her those. If I see something cute with touches of fantasy and magic I'll get that for Tiffany. And if I see something cute with horses on it, I get it for my friend Ali. I also pay for my friends when we go out to eat most of the time. Hey, you never know when you'll need someone to pay for you. :P
I AM a special gift.
I love this! My honey does this for me and it makes my heart beat faster every time
We usually stay together at night but sometimes he stays at his house to get some stuff done the next morning. He knew that I missed him, so he thought he'd leave me a little surprise. When I opened my car door the next morning, I found a long stem rose with a sweet note attached in my seat. I felt smitten the rest of the day..
I do if I have the money. It never has to be a huge, grand gift but something thoughtful.
yeah, if i have money and i see something he likes i'll pick it up. he does the same for me. :)
my boyf bought me this bear yesterday that had this cute ribbon, & writing on his tummy that said "A Hug From Me To You". it was soooo adorable haha.
especially since he saw it and bought it for no reason other than it reminded him of me.

I give presents to my SO all the time. That's just part of the way I show my affection. Occasionally I get annoyed that he doesn't think to do that, but I understand that that's just not how he thinks, not his way of expressing his affection for me. And besides, I like to give presents b/c I know that it will make him happy. :)
I did give presents like that to my SO... but I rarely ever had money and sometimes he would tell me not to. I think I did it more for him than him for me. :(
I love "just because" presents! They're just random acts of kindness that show your SO that you really do care for them and love them.
i do! and he looks at me like "...you want something, dont you?" lol. but it's usually cos i thought about him while shopping and found something he likes. :D
yup, i do the same thing. if i know he needs something, i just pick it up when im out. its convenient, and he loves it when i get him things he needs, things he'll actually use. the first time i did something random like this was when i got him a pack of socks - i noticed the socks he was wearing looked really old and frayed, and the bottoms were completely rubbed out. now whenever he puts on socks in the morning, he's reminded of me LOL.
yeah....I do the same. And my husband stops by Godiva occasionally on his way home.....sigh, that's an amazing man! :D

I always buy my boyfriend gifts "just because." I love when I give him something that I know he really wants or will like. It makes me happy :)

I remember when my SO brought me mint-choco chip icecream (my fave!) right when he picked me up from work. I thought it was so sweet and cute! :)
Yesterday, I bought my SO some sour candies from the Sweet Factory 'cause he's dearly in love with sour things (blech... not my type of candy!) but I filled a bag up to give it to him before we met up. He ate like four pieces of candy and gave me the rest... uhhh I don't think he liked it.
What do guys like as surprises?

I came home yesterday and Matt had cleaned the ENTIRE apartment. It was amazing! Best "just because" present ever. He also gets me flowers or chocolate stuff occasionally. I surprise him sometimes wearing new lingerie or I give him food that he really likes or like you pick up something that he's been wanting. Presents like this are fun. :)
just because presents are the best. it shows how much you mean to a person and that you arent being taken for granted. =)
