Miss Rhino
More than once in my life I've had to accept the fact that I'll never be able to run for President. At least not with the eclectic array of pictures I have posted on my Facebook. I can see it now....
Elect Me! Barfing On America For The Next Four Years!
Paris Hilton would obviously be my running mate. The Dynamic Duo they'd call us. That's hot.
Needless to say, there are some photos that I wish never graced the computer screens of the greater Facebook nation. So when I was propositioned for pictures of myself in a slightly more revealing nature, I obviously declined. There was no way pictures of myself in my birthday suit were being released onto the interweb. We've all seen what's happened to Vanessa Hudgens. It's my hope that with her reputation tarnished, Zac Efron will leave his scandalous lover and be with me and we can star in College Musical: Nudity-Free.
Now besides for the picture of me and my sister in the bathtub together when we were approx 5 and 2 (that she made her profile picture on Facebook for about a month) I would never agree to send anyone, no matter who they were, pictures of that sort. UNLESS of course I got them copyrighted.
Apparently if you get your naked pictures copyrighted, you and you alone are the only one allowed to post them. Which makes me wonder why celebs don't just do that. Ashley Greene, you knew those picz were going to get leaked. You could have sprung for the copyright, but instead you've shamed the entire Twilight family. I shake my head at you.
Would you ever take and send revealing pictures of yourself? Or would you avoid the nude photo scandal altogether? Can even the most trusting relationship survive the nude photo trend?
And what happens to those pictures once the relationship is over? Yikes. I shudder to think.

I take nudies of myself all the time and send them to everyone. I leave them as MySpace comments, Facebook status updates, blog posts and on public forums.
I'm a cheap, dirty whore.
I've decided that if I want someone to see me naked, they will see me in person. Because lets say I send someone pictures, they might respect me enough to not post them all over the internet but their nosy friend who looks through their computer might not.
Never send anything scandalous over the internet. Scandalous and internet don't mix!
I would never take nude/revealing pictures of myself. This wouldn't even change if I was married to the guy. If we're married, then you'll see me naked in person -___- I don't want to send you pictures that someone looking over your shoulder might see or if you lost your phone.
The trend of celebrity picture scandals has to be some kind of setup to further their careers. I mean, can anyone that famous be so naive as to think that their nude pictures won't get discovered some how, some way? You give up your privacy when you get famous, when will they realize it's not worth the risk? That is, of course, unless they're trying to land a spot in Playboy.
My boyfriend is the only person that has those kinds of pics of me.
I'm currently featured on a website showcasing ex-boyfriend dirty pics.
So just kidding.
"Get them copyrighted"?
"Sprung for copyright"?
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
i've been asked for those pictures...haven't sent any though. those pictures could end up EVERYWHERE. and you could be arrested for distribution of child pornography, and the person you sent them to can be arrested for posession of child pornography.
not smart.
I took a few for shits & giggles, like posing with my piece tucked behind my legs.
When you send ANYONE a pic of you nude, your just asking for it.
i don't think you should send anyone naked pictures of yourself, even if you're married to them. i don't see what's 'attractive' or 'cool' about it. also, there are too many FML's about sending it to the wrong person or something...
So... Vanessa Hudgens ... her photo's leaking out?... thats just called great publicity. I'm sure it was no accident whatsoever that her photo's leaked. As they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity. She became a MASSIVE target of media attention. Without that, she would have nothing else to run on at the moment. She became the flavor of the week. If nothing else, the photo's actually probably HELPED her career... sure she went through a moment of scandal and 'shame shame' .. but having *DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY* on your record doesn't necessarily help you out in the real movie world. It kinda helps her image (in a certain whacked out sense) to appear more as an adult than as a highschool demographic targeting product...
With all that said, i dont think a person without the celebrity status of Hudgens or anyone else to that effect would have their life so rocked if they let out nudey pics on the net. I mean, so what.. a nudey pic is a nudey pic... its kindof a fad that any given person goes through. We all want to be seen as daring and desirous and rarely think about what might happen if we break up or if our significant other shows them off to other people. (which almost undoubtably happens EVERY time.. well, in man land at least) ... I guess if we're gonna put on the big boy pants and play grown up and send out some risque pictures of ourself, then we should be big boy pants grown up enough to be able to deal with the reproductions of that pic... weather that mean we get laid or played...
@laurasaywha@xanga - ahahaa, i'm with you on this one.
@Viserys@xanga - INCONCIEVABLE!
@Viserys@xanga - I did further research because you're right I'm no legal genius. Apparently Greene, as copyright owner, is taking legal action. I officially un-shake my head at her.Â

@missrhino - Haha, no problem. I've just had it drilled into my head through various classes that copyright is (usually) conferred with no effort on part of the author - it's natural when you create something, unless you give it up.
@Viserys@xanga - way to quote Princess Bride. Love it.
I think its because the celebs don't take the picture by themselves...so it automatically becomes the picture of whoever took it:P
@ColdBeverage87@xanga - =)
lol
The moment you create ANYTHING (in the USA) it is immediately copyrighted to you. Anything. Scribble down a smiley face on a post-it, that artwork is copyrighted to you.
Does this mean you're gonna be handing out your nudie photos? Eh? =P
I have no problems with giving or receiving photos, but if you aren't mature enough to respect one another's privacy and feelings about who should see them, then you probably shouldn't take them. Personally I deleted all pics from my exes after we broke up, I had no purpose for them anymore.
Oh yes posing Nude for the whole world to see is so very hot... i'm sure my future kids will just love to know that Mommy got her 15 minutes of fame. :) seriously it is so NOT! I mean why would you take them in the first place?? I'll never understand that. if you're going to take them at least have the decency to keep them off the web.
This isnt a trend. People are just assholes now and know there's money in leaking them to the right people. As long as there has been cameras there has been amateur/celebrity nude photos... and them being leaked.
