  • Advice@Datingish vs. Datingish

Hello, Datingish! I realize that there is confusion, obviously, as to what is going on. There are going to be some changes made to the Datingish site.

Anonymous stated: Okay, I'm just wondering what the point is of an advice blog. Don't datingish users go to datingish and post blogs here for advice anyway? The only difference I see is that people get answers from the "misses," which still doesn't seem like a significant change since the "misses" could just reply to datingish posts anyway. Seems like a redundant idea and a waste of time to me. Whatever sinks your ship, I guess.

We appreciate your concern for redundancy, and so, I'd like to clear up a few things. First of all, we're going to try to cut down on the "Does he/she like me?" and the "Is this considered cheating?" posts on Datingish. Don't worry, we're not going to completely eliminate them -- we're moving them over to Advice@Datingish, instead! Those posts will be on Advice@Datingish from now on, and one of the editors will be answering your questions personally. Of course, you can continue to comment and completely disagree with the us (that's what I've been expecting lately). It's practically the same exact thing that you have done at Datingish except now on a different site. You can think of it as Dear Abby or even Jamie Bufalino from Time Out New York.

Now without these posts, what will Datingish consist of? Think of it more as questioning or observing the male-female dichotomy in the social sphere, relationships, or anything else you can think of.

If there are any more questions, comment and we'll try our best to clarify. Otherwise, go to Advice! There are people waiting for you to give your opinion as to what YOU would do in their situation!
