Reader Donna left us a comment about some of our recent posts:
I am so tired of "what do men think about women?" I think women need to express them selves about what a man really is and what to expect from their counter parts. Beauty has nothing to do with it. WHAT IS INSIDE IS WHAT COUNTS, as for men. I have found that 75 % of men are not worth the attention of BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. AND they NEED TO FOCUS ON THE SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WITH A WOMAN AND NOT THE outter beauty of the trophie.And I think this is my favorite comment I've read on here in a while.
What's the funniest (or most insightful, if you prefer) comment you've read on Datingish? If you can't think of one, is there a favorite commenter or poster of yours?

I think I've pretty much earned the title of "consistent best commenter".
@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - I have no objection on that=)
i have a seen a lot of insignificant comments where people are leave comments that arent insightful or significant at all in all manner of ways.
"hasnt happened to me."
"not yet" wen refering to some event happening to them in relation to the post.
"thats cool, i havent had that yet."
"never gonna happen to me."
haha i wish if ppl commented these things they should at least add something too. but hey cant please everyone and cant be pleased by everyone.
No comment
eh.
Nothing insightful or particularly funny.
@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - yeah man, i totally miss ur posts being featured on xangacame back from heaven
@e4st0n_5ynth3sis@xanga - Thanks man! I'm trying to get another post together sometime this weekend.
I don't find this comment particularly insightful. The ideas contained in it are poorly arranged grammatically and are rather simple - at least, to me, they appear to be common sense: women, demand the respect you deserve from men and don't let them treat you like just a body, and men, give them that respect. Must be a slow day on datingish.
@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - true :)
i actually find that comment rather dumb. failure at spelling trophy and outer, and misplaced commas attest to that.
but also that it isn't that easy to get off the 'appearance' thing. people seem to forget that finding attractive people to fuck is part of our most basic nature. i don't really understand why people would want to stamp out this part of us instead of just promoting supplementing our basic instincts with a (learned) value of personality.
plus, it's the commentor's perogative to find a guy to settle down with. not everyone wants that sort of thing and that decision should not be looked down upon as 'shameful'. for some people, settling down is impossible without hurting another person anyway.
@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - haha ill sub in case its not featured
I'm not impressed.
The comment is nothing profound. Plus I am such a grammar Nazi that I actually have trouble understanding sentences that are structured poorly and/or contain several mistakes. I actually had to read it a couple times for it to process.
sigh, nobody understands sarcasm
@datingish - if the post was sarcastic, you have a lot of practicing to do :P
I'z thunk that coment was awsum!!! now i knows how to get a gurlfrend!
sorry, i didn't understand your sarcasm either...
i hate poor spelling and grammatical errors, too.
@Murphy_Rants@xanga - I still don't know what it says. Hahahaha.
@datingish - I understood it!
Why does she capitalize the 'AND'?
And wtf does outter beauty of the trophie mean?!
*Xanga provided us with a spell check - please use it people!
I can usually deal with spelling and grammatical errors, but when the post is really trying to be serious it kind of takes away from the whole thing, especially when the point of view feels more like common sense [as said before by someone I'm too lazy to quote haha].
Also, one must be careful with written sarcasm for the tone of writing is often read differently by different people.
I think I forgot to laugh xD
Ok, so this was sarcasm...?
It was a "complisult?" (thanks mancouch)
That's a bit mean, datingish...why don't you leave rude and insulting to the xanga users (You have to admit, we can be pretty mean) and do what you do best, stick to your own topics, and in doing so, please remind me why I subscribed to this site.
The sarcasm is there, maybe some of you just aren't as cynical as your comments otherwise scream.
Um, how is this insightful or even funny? =/
Both posts were stupid as fuck. While one was SORTA funny the rebuttal fell pretty short on the laugh factor. I'd admit I fell into an argument with the writer when it wasn't that big of a deal but I more than anything wanted to teach young and upcoming idiots to try harder by verbally beating their asses and making them think twice before they assume that they're funny haha. I HAVE read some really nice responses from the group of xanga blogs I follow...
Just not this week. I use lamebook.com for that. people drop SERIOUS zingers over there.
