Which Accents Do You Find Most Attractive?
I work at the front desk of a hotel, and even though most of our guests are from the surrounding states of Ohio on business, I am privileged to hear the occasional accent from other areas of the globe.
Though sometimes this can create a communication barrier, I love being able to listen to accents outside the midwest US. And as a result, I have picked up some favorites.
It's a tie between Scottish and "Americanized Italian" accents..
For some reason (maybe just from biases and stereotypes I've encountered) I find nothing more manly than a Scottish accent. Let's just say Gerard Butler makes me weak in the knees.
But I also find the voices of men like Robert De Niro incredibly sexy as well. Something very gritty and sexy about them. Again, kind of basing it off of cliches, but I can't help myself in either case.

I like southern accents. But not real thick ones. Because I kinda think they sound stupid when they're really thick.
And I love scottish and irish accents. =D
Australian, Irish, British. Damn pretty much every accent is amazing. Except like Asian accents. :P

British and Southern, neither of them can be too thick or obnoxious. XD
Russian, most Slavic, and Hebrew accents are hot to me.
I like Russian accents.
South American/Argentine... the way they roll their L's... =)
British/Aussie accents are cute!
Italian accents make me weak in the knees...
And the most romantic of them all! French! Everything sounds so much more beautiful in French.

I thought I was immune to accents; I hear a lot of them. I grew up in Texas, left, and returned. In the years I was away, I heard a variety of accents, but accidentally hearing a Tejano accent while away from Texas brought me to tears. More than any other, Tejano says home.
French and Spanish... a woman could cuss me out and still sound sexy as hell.
Eastern European, especially Russian. Oh man.

Southern gets me everytime...of course...I'm Southern...so that might have something to do with it.
Scottish and Irish are extremely attractive, too. (I'm mostly Scots-Irish...sensing a pattern here?)
Northern/Yankee accents are downright unattractive, though. They're basically deal-clinchers for me. As in, "No, I won't date you. You talk funny."
Austrailian for sure.
But then second people from the U.K. have real nice accents. :)
I really like the South African accent. And then there's the pure exoticism of the Spanish accent. mmm
I grew up in germany so I've heard a lot of different types of accents... But i really enjoy the English, scottish, and irish accent. :) and of course I do enjoy the german accent as well... even though many people consider the german language aggressive.. I still don't understand that...
