Friends of mine are getting married like it's going out of style and planning honeymoons - one couple went to Hawaii, others went to Cancun...so I was talking to the boyf the other night about where his ideal honeymoon destination would be - he loves traveling and I knew he'd come up with a cool place.
I was sure he was going to say either Alaska or Thailand (he wants to go to both) but he came up with Athens, which I thought was a solid choice. "I know I'm not going to be able to drag my future wife with me to Siberia, so that sounded like a good compromise to me," he said. Then he brought up Beirut and I was, like, uh, no.
Chillin' in Cancun is great for some people, but not for yours truly. My parents went to Maine for theirs, but that's a little too local for me. I thought about Switzerland and northern France, like Normandy and Brittany, so I 'spose I'm more European-minded. This is making me want to check Expedia right now.
Let's say money is no object and you and your future spouse agree to go wherever you want. Where would you go on your honeymoon?

If there was no financial problem, I'd have my honeymoon in Spain, or Beirut (yes, I wanna go there), or Morocco, or Greece, or Ecuador. Nowhere in Asia because I'm from here and I've seen several countries already.
Depends on who I marry. I've always imagined going to Greece, Italy, Spain, and a stop in Switzerland to go Skiing. If I want to go tropical, I was thinking of Hawaii, French Polynesia or even Hong Kong (yes, Hong Kong).
Before I came to Germany I would have said Spain.....but I have been to Spain twice already! So I think if I were to travel somewhere for a honeymoon I would like to go to Greece, Rome, Venice, and The Vatican. I have been to a few different countries since living here. For Instance: Germany, Netherlands, France, and Spain. I still have a few more to add before my time is up. The husband and I got married in March 09. And still have yet to take our honeymoon. So who knows....maybe we might just go soon!
french polynesia
Greece, Ukraine, or Sweden. Greece has always had an appeal for me. I am of Ukrainian descent, and my boyfriend is half Swedish...so any of those places would be perfect.
Santorini, Greece. or the mountains somewhere. I am not opposed to hiking it for my honeymoon!!
Paris! (My favorite city in the world...)
my honeymoon .. i want to travel all through continental europe. go to istanbul. england. maybe south america. just EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE with history. i've already been to china and i want to live there, so honeymooning there, not quite where i want to be. the thing is, i HATE honeymoons that only go to beaches or places that are so typical and not interesting. idk, i'm just a nerd :D:D
Hawaii, Greece, Italy :) I've already been to Guam a few times, but hey- I love that place
but im not rich so it would end up like disneyworld or something
Not that it's bad at all.
A tropical island definitely, I want it to just be me and him with the sun, sea and sand.
Tropical Island...
venice but only if i cud go by myself
Rome, Italy.
Europe or Austrailia
I'm going to be super cliche and say Hawaii. It's just one of those places you want to go to BEFORE you have kids. Either that or Siberia. I know, kind of two extremes, but they're both places that you'll have few opportunities to visit.
greece, hawaii, the bahamas, or any tropical island!
Maldives! Somewhere I havent been to and I always want to go.. and there are many other places I want to go. But Maldives might be more memorable/ special just because it may disappear some years later.
Thailand would be sweet!!
or Japan.
Spain or somewhere tropical
somewhere over the rainbow.. way up high
French Polynesia
Bali
Greece
One of the nicest beach in the Philippines
I'm not sure which country, but probably somewhere in Europe. I'm not really big on beaches and heat, so I'd rather go somewhere I can DO things!
