I started out with some secondhand embarrassment for some of the groomsmen, but the more I thought about it, the happier this video made me. One of my biggest hangups when it comes to weddings (including my own in the future) is how formal and, well, sterile they are. I think this shows that all it's supposed to be is a day where you say how much you love someone in front of all your friends. Oh yeah, and you should have a good time in the process.
This is so much more appealing to me than Platinum Weddings and Say Yes to The Dress and all that garbage, because I know I won't ever be That Bride, nor do I want to be.
Okay, off to watch this again, but I hope this makes you guys as giddy as it made me.
p.s. I also love that the bridesmaids got to wear sundresses they can wear again instead of fugly dresses.

great! very funny! They had a very nice idea instead of something solemn and formal..I wonder how the rest of the ceremony was..
this is amazing. i hope my bride-to-be will agree to something like that. it would make it so much more memorable and, gasp, FUN!
This is exactly how weddings should be. Should I ever have one, I want it to be just like this.
A good friend of mine and her husband each have their own band, and they're the musical directors of their church. Instead of the traditional recessional, they kind of half-walked/half-danced out of the church to James Taylor's "How Sweet It Is" as they hugged as many friends & relatives as they could. It was fun & light-hearted & perfectly THEM.
That's incredible!! I never understood why weddings need to be so formal and by the books, have a little fun people!
awwwwwwwwwwwwh!
THIS LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH MORE FUN AND LOVING THAN TRADITIONAL WEDDINGS!!
I would LOVE for my wedding to be this amazing.
The dresses were beautiful, the flowers simple, and this will be so much more memorable.
I saw this, too, and I sent it to my sister last night. She might do something similar for her wedding.
This made my day! I'm going to suggest this idea to my best friend who's getting married next weekend. I doubt she'll agree, but it couldn't hurt!
Full of win.
Omg! that was soooo sweet and looked like so much fun... honestly as a dancer I was going to buy a dress and dance down the aisle instead of just walk... Dancers are always moving but i love how much fun they had! That was amazing!
I think your wedding needs to be however you and your future spouse want it to be. My wedding was very formal and proper, I wanted it that way. the reception was a bit less formal but....it still had all the traditions to it.
Hahaha. Looks like a great time, but I think people put on the formal-ness because of the elder people. Parents, grandparents might not approve and think their child isn't ready to get married.
Never know. But yes, props for creativity.
that was flippin' sweet!! i wish my brother's wedding was like that. the only thing similar to that was at the reception when the maid of honor and i (best man) were introduced we walked in with a kind of ''pimp swagger'' to lighten the mood. if i ever decide to get married i want the ceremony to be similar to this, it just looked like way too much fun!!!
That looked so fun! I completely envisioned my one friend doing this... haha
they had a show like that on TLC where they did a dance like that at the reception, i think it was called Rock the Reception or something like that
looks like it was a fun time and that they are fun people. it should be however you want it to be.
It's fun, but I don't think I'd want it. *shrug*
looks amusing and fun... but I am traditional (and I guess it means I am a bit boring)...
Aw this is awesome! Makes me so happy! And actually makes the idea of marriage so much less scary and intimidating.
That is amazing!!! Wow, I really love that. It was too cute! But no matter how cute it was, I still still prefer the pretty church wedding, with the slow music..
That just made me happy watching it. Made me wish my husband and I had thought of it for our wedding!
This actually made me cry. For one...I love that song. It's perfectly sweet and about love. And seeing the bride bust it down the aisle made me smile very much! That's how I am. I'm not so serious of a person, and I like to make people smile and laugh. And I would think my future groom would be outgoing as well. I like the idea of doing something outside of tradition. That's what I'm all about.
Hilarious but I still prefer the traditional wedding.
I want a FUN wedding! I want my friends to remember exactly how and what happened in it.
