Underneath The Marilyn Manson in Us Is A Live Person
Some people tend to forget that underneath that mask and devilish "bravado" is a real live forward thinking man, and that often shows in people's declare of love for him. It sounds kind of weird to start that way, but I thought it was appropriate, being one who is subjected to news about certain people. But Marilyn Manson, that I know believed in true love, if you could muster it. From my knowledge, he once got on an MTV show just to say so to a VJ. And we all know when you mess around with a man who loves truly, you can turn him into quite a bitter man. For example...
Today, I bumped into a newsreel that announced that Marilyn Manson cut himself every time he tried to call his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood. That amount is 158 times, and to this day, he regrets it. Now that (I had read this, I seem to know exactly why men get so promiscuous or turn into jerks around women...w ell, that is half the reason for jerks, but you get the point).
Marilyn has been trying to get into real love for a while, and you have heard of his marriage to three women. And men know that you only get so many times that a woman can "accept" you, before emotionally, you are a wreck. His Valentine's marriage to Rose McGowan didn't work out, Dita Von Teese didn't work because of her inability to handle both Brian and Marilyn Manson (apparently, Marilyn is only the entertaining alter-ego). And Evan left because, well, he's 40, mostly. And anyone who knows the matters of the heart just hates it when someone leaves for such small reasons. (The common sense lies in why you would even pair off, knowing that sort of thing will not go away.) If Brian was a wife or a girl-beater, perhaps, even he can sympathize.
People tend to forget that underneath Marilyn Manson is a real live man.
People tend to forget that whenever you are the last person they count on for real emotional, sexual, optical, real live love, you are bringing him to the very edge, and turning him to the very man some women actually hate, if you dip in and leave. The grit your teeth, light his wreath type of man who just wants acceptance and gets a falsified thought of what a man ought to be. When all that could have been is real long-lasting love, the thing you look for all along. Now, if any man used to have been where Marilyn was, they would have been the one to want to take a ballhammer to her, too. Some men just become swingers.
People tend to forget that underneath the Marilyn Manson in all of us are real live people.

He said he cut himself on the face and hands every time he called her because he wanted to show her all the pain she was putting him through.
I feel bad for his broken heart.
:/
congrats on the feature(:
A+
@XxRainyxMondayxX@xanga - Thanks for the blogs attention. the blog got so popular, I wanted to know what Datingish had to say about this.
The point of this article is the idea of a lover as a last hope or a last straw for a true love in life, and how one small mistake or miscalculation for picking soulmates or lovers can ruin a man or woman's belief in romance for life. Got to feel for a man who has been completely alone for Christmas and his birthday right after the fact.
Well, duh.
if Brian was a wife- or girl-beater*
I really feel for Manson sometimes. He gets a LOT of shit for being who he is.. Especially from the media. And especially from Columbine and crap like that.
I agree. People tend to forget all too often little details in dating like women can be ruthless jerks much in the same way men can. It's not really fair that all women are jerks because someone hurt them and all men are jerks because they're just born that way.
I've always admired Manson. He really puts himself out there as a performer and has to deal with a lot of criticism from the media. If you've ever heard the guy talk, or read anything he's written, it's easy to tell the man is super intelligent. Underneath all the make up, he has all the needs and wants as anybody else does. From what I've read, his breakup with Von Tesse really tore him up, and when he met Evan Rachel Wood, he took a big leap and gave love a second chance. I don't know him, and I couldn't imagine what it would be like having a relationship with someone as eccentric as Manson, but poor guy. Every girl he falls for seems to leave him.
@maeberry2007@xanga - It's a vicious cycle that one.

absolutely 100% positively correct. I'm glad someone else realizes it.
I'm not sure if anyone knows, but his art is amazing. He is an amazing painter. Check it out.
so true, i've never thought of the man underneath the facade.
Poor guy. There are a lot of us out there who, for some reason, everyone else happens to *forget* are real people too.
Intelligent or not, the man is a freak. I wouldn't touch him with a 10ft pole! I have seen his concerts and he is a pig. People critized acts like Ozzy and Alice Cooper and others for whatever they did on stage, but Manson topped the cake when he was doing disgusting acts on stage and if you have seen him, then you know what I am talking about. Anyway, he had beautiful women in his life which is unbelievable, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so they must have seen something in him. Girl beater or not, you can't really say what he is like with his relationships, cause you are not there with him to see how he treats women. There has to be a big reason why they didn't wanna be with him anymore and it may not have anything to do with who he is as a performer. Anyone who cuts over someone else is a complete idiot in my eyes, but that's just my opinion so don't shoot me for it. I think the man has issues and he needs to sort them out before he gets into another relationship and he shouldn't be so quick to marry women. Quickie relationships never work!
@boricua_chic_2008@xanga - Well said hun, I agree with you totally about that. I can't stand him either.
I rather enjoy Manson's music, however, seeing him on talk shows like Letterman and hearing interviews with him have caused me to like him more. He is well spoken and rather bright, something you might not expect from his stage performances.
Well said about him being a person beneath his stage makeup.
I'm a big fan of his. People judge him just by how he looks and just don't care about getting to actually know him or not.
Read his autobiography he wrote. Actually take the time to get to know the real him.
And good article, you've made some really good points.
Wow, hw's been throgh so much =[ He really loved Evan Rachel Wood... its sad that he would hurt himself that much just to show her the pain she was putting him through =[
He just seems to be getting into the wrong relationships...
I absolutely adore Manson, he's a good person, intelligent and his art is just amazing. He proves that the inside matters a lot.
@boricua_chic_2008@xanga - Being a preformer mself, I can tell you that most of what you see on stage has less to do with who the actual preformer is and more to do with the "character" they are portraying. In other words, it is all an act. People who preform on stage tend to take on alternate egos, so to speak, that are quite often the exact oposite of what they are really like.
I love Marilyn Manson, both as a man and an artist. As far as his art goes, he's so inspiring to me. He's just amazing. People who don't see him for what he is are just blind.
He is always misjudged and it is a true and sad shame. He gets labeled more so then I think the US govt does! He is an artist who isn't afraid to not only push the evelope but send it over the grand canyon and look at you dead in the face and not give a rats ass. That is the power of the persona! He is a stage god! He knows how to entertain people and he doesn't give a shit if you don't like his music or not. He wants people to be able to express themselves.
It is a shame that his love life has done nothing for him. I'm sure there are plenty of fans that would be sure to love him the way he should be... ^.^
huh? I've only ever seen Marilyn Manson as just a man. He just likes to shock people with his music. It's as simple as that. I would hang out with him any day.

i agree 110% with this.
