My Teacher Said We Were Going to Get Married - WHAT?
All right... I'm kind of in a situation that I am totally unsure what to do.There's a guy that I like, he was in one of my classes. I really like him, and I believe that if we got together a lot would come out of it. My teacher came to me, like, a week before the end of school and told me the following: she said that she has some sort of psychic abilities and that she sees me and this guy together, in marriage, with a daughter named Madeline Elizabeth and that the baby would be born seven weeks early. A few things are creeping me out:
1) I was very discreet about liking this guy. I don't like to make it obvious; I am kind of shy when it comes to that. I don't know if she picked up on it or if she really is psychic.
2) I was at a friend's house a couple nights before this conversation, and we were all kinda bored so we began talking about what we would name our children. I had said that I would probably name my kid Madeline if I were ever to have a little girl someday. There is no possible way that my teacher could have known this. None whatsoever.
Now I want to talk to this guy, but what do I say? I don't even know if he likes me? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

then bring it up to him as a "you'll never believe what Mrs.**** said to me about us" and laugh it off!

I don't believe in psychic stuff but if you like the guy, why not go for it?
really freaky..but still, you have your own choice..if you like the guy, then go for it..it doesn't matter what some fortune teller freak tells you so...just go with the flow and take any chances you have..
If she really is pyschic then that means eventually you were gonna find some way to talk to him. Just keep living life the way you were before she told you. This is why I don't go to fortune tellers because that could change your whole course. Your decisions decide if that's going to be true and if you know before hand, you might do something thinking you'll get closer to that goal and completely alter that future...
Physics = Bullcrap. But I'd say go for it, anyway, at least you can laugh that some physic said you were meant to me. :P

I think the real question is: How does your teacher know this?!
Just kidding, go for it! What do you have to lose?

1. Your teacher is being way inappropriate there.
2. Teachers know a lot more than you (and most other students) think. Spend nine months with the same group of students... you'll pick up a lot without trying.
3. Forget what your teacher said because now you're going to have it in the back of your mind and it will, in some way or another, affect the way you behave in your relationship.
4. If you like the guy, it shouldn't really matter what your teacher, or anyone else says. Take the chance and ask the guy out, the worst thing he'll do is say no.
5. Or don't take the chance. Things will work out or they won't, regardless of your teacher's "prediction" and how much or how little effort you want to put into it is your decision.
Talk to him.

Odepius spent his whole life trying to run from his "fate" and it happened anyways, if it's meant to be it will.
But you could try talking to him as friends and see what happens.
That's a little creepy..but I think you should go on ahead and talk to him :) It wouldn't hurt to be friends at least.

Omg, this is funny beyond words. Please stop believing this "teacher" - she kind of sounds like a creep, honestly. And, if you really want to talk to this guy, go ahead, but don't be under any impressions that you'll get married and have a premature child.

but then again how old are you? even if you were to date him now its not a guarantee you'll get married, especially if you're younger.
