My Teacher Said We Were Going to Get Married - WHAT?
All right... I'm kind of in a situation that I am totally unsure what to do.There's a guy that I like, he was in one of my classes. I really like him, and I believe that if we got together a lot would come out of it. My teacher came to me, like, a week before the end of school and told me the following: she said that she has some sort of psychic abilities and that she sees me and this guy together, in marriage, with a daughter named Madeline Elizabeth and that the baby would be born seven weeks early. A few things are creeping me out:
1) I was very discreet about liking this guy. I don't like to make it obvious; I am kind of shy when it comes to that. I don't know if she picked up on it or if she really is psychic.
2) I was at a friend's house a couple nights before this conversation, and we were all kinda bored so we began talking about what we would name our children. I had said that I would probably name my kid Madeline if I were ever to have a little girl someday. There is no possible way that my teacher could have known this. None whatsoever.
Now I want to talk to this guy, but what do I say? I don't even know if he likes me? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Talk to the guy without mentioning anything about your teacher's 'prediction', then see what come out of it. Best of luck!

i'd say just go for it and be yourself; that is if you truly feel that you do like the guy (not just because of your so called "psychic" teacher). although you may be creeped out by the words mentioned by your teacher, you still will have that "what if" lingering in the back of your mind if you decide to not talk to the guy. who knows? maybe she's right and the love of your life could be standing right next to you! i believe anything is possible and maybe your "psychic teacher" could be the one who helps you in finding your perfect soulmate.

I say even if your teacher might have taken the wrong pills, you should up it one level and talk to him about it. (:
I agree with everyone else...doesn't matter what the teacher said. Go for it, because otherwise, you might regret it for the rest of your life. I mean, really, won't you be going "What if?" if you never go talk to him? The worst that can happen is he doesn't like you back, in which case, you'll get over it. The best is that you two go on a study date, then maybe a real date, and let things progress from there.

Don't let it wig you out. If you are attracted to him and want to talk to him, go for it--however, don't let a "psychic" reading throw you into thinking that is definitely your future and you have to go that route. I believe that people can have visions of the future---however, just make sure in the end that you choose what you want to do. Don't let what she says make you think you have to go after this guy. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen---so if y'all are meant to be together, it will happen. If you're not meant to be together---than it won't. No worries

haha this seems like a great conversation starter for you- just say, "Hey, so-and-so teacher told me she thinks we'll get married!" Then you can gauge his reaction, see where it goes
@naguyin@xanga - I think it's a mobile microscopic webcam that the teacher planted on the persons's face that's the culprit of the teacher's said "psychic abilities."

There IS a chance the teacher found out. There's always a chance, however improbable. One of your friends could have told her to set you up. It just sounds so creepy I would be more careful what I shared with people who claimed to be my friends when that information starts coming out of other people's mouths. Just too much of a coincidence.
Uh... report her to the principle.
Talk to him. The teacher - despite her being true or not - could just be the little push that gets you two together.

Could the friend have told your teacher, or could your teacher have overheard your friend talking? If not, coincidences do happen. To believe in psychic powers is quite superstitious, as people claiming to have psychic powers fail scientific analysis.
