Could You Be Gay for Pay?
As I was watching the Tyra Show they showed a preview for an upcoming episode called "Gay for Pay". It's about men who identify as straight but do gay porn. The claim to only do gay porn for the money but could they also possibly be gay and just don't want to come out of the closet?Do you think these men are gay or really just want the money? If you identify as straight would you ever do gay/lesbian porn for money? If you identify as gay/lesbian would you ever do straight porn for money?

If someone gave me a million dollars to do gay porn I would be an idiot to turn it down. I'm only interested in women but I also love $$ so yeah if someone offered enough $$ then why not? I don't see myself as 'gay' if I were to do that b/c to me it's more like a job, a business opportunity. To me time is the most valuable thing. The amount of time to make $1 mil is QUITE substantial so if someone offered me to $1 mil to do gayporn (like one time deal kinda thing) then hell yeah. I do that 1 movie and I can retire like asap (if you invest the $1 mil properly). But then again I love $$$ so maybe some others who are not as superficial as me will probably not do it lol.
two years ago, during my Sexuality course, our class discussed with an expert about straight guys wanting to "try out" having "gay sex" with another straight guy. these men identified themselves as straight and was experimenting (or were thinking of experimenting) with having sexual intercourse with another straight male. The expert did give us a big overview of such evidence on craigslist, etc. there are gay guys that are pretending to be straight so they can attract different types of men.
so yeah, I can see how these straight guys would do gay porn for the money. there are plenty of straight female porn stars who participate in "lesbian"esque porn, no?

I'm sure that some of them are doing it just for the money. There may be some who are actually gay and are trying to hide it, but I don't see any good reason for that. I mean, they're already in porn, having sex with other men anyway. At that point, they really don't have to worry about coming out...

Gay pays A LOT more than straight porn. I don't know exactly how much more but I've heard it's a really significant amount. So if for some reason I did end up in the porn business...hell yeah you can expect that I would be involved with gay porn! (even though I am straight)

Considering that homosexuality goes far beyond homogenital sex acts, if they say they're straight, I believe them. You have to be really secure in your identity to be heterosexual and comfortable doing gay porn, whatever the pay is. Then again, from what I understand, men can't exactly control what does or does not get them hard, so I have a hard time believing that these men don't find these other men they're being sexual with even the slightest bit sexually attractive. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. (I'm trans; while male, I don't have a penis, so I don't really know.) I identify as queer. I would consider having queer sex for pay. Examples of "queer sex" can be found here (note: link is not to any porn itself but to some porn sales and descriptions). I would consider this because sexual health and safety is generally a big focus in the porn industry, my girlfriend and I are both open to various experiences with people other than each other, and because the "queer porn" industry is seriously lacking (in quantity, in substance, etc). Presently, almost all porn is marketed to males (heterosexual porn to all males, lesbian porn to heterosexual males, and gay porn to homosexual males); this is infuriating to me and I would definitely consider doing porn specifically marketed to a different audience (women, queer women, queer men, queers, etc) simply so that more diverse pornography was on the market.

I think you have to be a little gay to be doing gay porn. Esp being a guy. Because you are either getting a penis in your mouth or ass or giving a penis to someone's ass or mouth. Haha. I don't know how one could not be gay and stay hard.
Although according to a guy friend of mine who is bisexual "head is head. no matter who is giving it to you."

I think if these men truly are straight, then they must be very comfortable with themselves so that they can do gay porn. It's an acting job, and I guess some guys are just really good actors.
I personally wouldn't do any adult video, gay or straight.

Hm. It depends. Easy answer, No. Complicated answer: As long as I'm giving (not receiving,) I don't really care as long as there is money involved and no kissing. I could go for that. A mouth is a mouth, right?

If I really needed the money I would do gay porn for money. I rather do that then be a prostitute out in the streets or something. It's just a job.
My ex and I were watching Pornucopia and they had a bit about this topic. I told him he should do gay porn so he can buy me lots of presents ;-P lol they make the most $$ of any porn performers.
