Saying "I Do" with A Tattoo?
Marriage, for some, is all about the wedding dress, reception, band, and ceremony. But before any of that can take place, the bride and groom must both say "I do". Once vows are exchanged, then come the wedding rings. Well, what happens when you want a more unconventional way to show your love? Who needs rings when you can get tattoos!
What do you think of this new fad? Would you tie the knot and get a tattoo of your wedding band with your SO, or are real rings more your style?

That's just retarded.
As much as I love tattoos, this would NOT be for me. Sorry. I see it as a little on the low-class side instead of being trendy.
Real rings only.
I have a wedding band, but my husband and I are getting tattoos as well - they'll be covered by the bands, though.
My husband's awesome :) His reasoning: "Any asshole can take off a wedding band and go to the bar; it's a lot harder to hide a tattoo!"
DO BOTH, fuck it
real ring, I don't want to change my skin
My boyfriend actually said he would get one of these. I see his point, with the tattoo being permanent and all -- but I still want a ring.
It would be nice if people would actually think before they got married. A lot of people just get married and think if it doesn't work out, there's always divorce. So not the way to think of marriage.
I have yet to see one up close though. If they all look like the photo provided, I'd say that's a no go for me.
@whitetrashpoet@xanga - lol, that's what my boyfriend said too. I love that.
I kind of like that idea. Especially for a couple really into tattoos, it's a cool thing to do. It's modern and fun.
My friend got one of these because she was in the airforce and they can't wear jewelry.
Too bad she got divorced 3 months later.
I know one person who has a tattooed band. Might've been related to some sort of discomfort with traditional wedding bands. (FWIW, this isn't his first wife)
I've heard of that kind of stuff, and I think it's cool. I'm not much for tattoos, so I really don't know (I also don't wear too much jewlery)
I'm stuck with that idea. But I might just stick to the ring because I probably would like that better :)
I have never heard of this fad and would never do it.
@whitetrashpoet@xanga - Aww that's so awesome of him! T-T
Hopefully the marriage will last.
On the other hand, the wife could never get mad at the husband for losing his wedding ring.
yeah love tats, but this isn't for me.
Ouch. I bet that would hurt. Fingers are so bony. :-o
Anyway, not for me I don't think.
that happens when you get divorced...
i think that it's somewhat creative. hopefully they won't divorce, because then the tats would just be retarded. but i think it's sweet. =O as for me, i'd like a ring, but knowing what kind of person i am with jewelry, i'd probably lose that ring lol.
hahahaha id like to see all the people who get one of these divorce
@faire_la_paix@xanga - hahaha, AGREEd!
how about a
FUCK THAT tatoo? =) cus you see..a ring at least i can sell it too LOL jk
I'm ok with the idea. But I would prefer traditional wedding bands because...I'm scared of pain.
you better hope that marriage will last!
Also with rungs, if something bad happens you can see it :P jkjk
but really, on a tattoo on the finger just seems like such an uncomfortable place for a tattoo.
I think the idea's really sweet, especially wearing a ring over it aswell !!
I've had this idea in my head for years since I hate wearing rings on my fingers because I crack my knuckles all the time. It's also more perminant. A total commitment
