  • Dating Decisions Made Easy

    Miss Rhino

I've recently discovered Hunch.com. Basically, Hunch is a website that will make your decisions for you. "In 10 questions or less, Hunch will offer you a great solution to your problem, concern or dilemma, on hundreds of topics. Hunch's answers are based on the collective knowledge of the entire Hunch community, narrowed down to people like you, or just enough like you that you might be mistaken for each other in a dark room. Hunch is designed so that every time it's used, it learns something new. That means Hunch's hunches are always getting better."

Now I'm the type of girl who dreads going to Subway because I can never decide what I want on my sandwich. I can't even decide what my favorite color is. Decisions are not my friends. The discovery of this website was like the heavens opening up and singing to me. So I tested it out on a question that has been on my mind recently:

Am I capable of undertaking a friends-with-benefits relationship?

Here is what Hunch had to say:

Have you ever had no-strings attached sex before?

    Yes

    Are you a "rolling stone?"

Assuming that means: Are you a commitment-phobe? I answered: Yes, I "gather no moss."

What is your favorite post-sex activity?

I debated between cuddling or ready for round two. Decided on cuddling. What can I say? I'm a sucker for spooning.

    What gets your motor running?

Long, lingering looks into the eyes of my companion.

Which would friends describe you as:

A bit of both. Codependent AND independent.

And the results: 60% says No. You need to keep your friendship platonic.

Good to know. Thank you Hunch.com. The next time I have a dire dating question on my mind, I will be back.
