  • If Only My Texts Were Witty Enough...

text... I would definitely submit them to TextsFromLastNight.com.

This website, which, in my mind, has surpassed FMyLife.com, is highly addicting - it should come with a caution label. I've added it to my ever-growing collection of obsessions. It is very unfortunate that I happen to have a Blackberry which allows me 24/7 access to the site...unfortunate for the people who try to hold a conversation with me without being interrupted by the latest ridiculous post every other second.

From frequent visitation, I have realized that there are three main categories of texts this website receives.

    1. The drunk text: Something completely incoherent and utterly hilarious. Many, many typos are involved and usually there is a foreboding sense of impending vomit on the sender's horizon.

    2. The morning-after text: From the male perspective, it is usually one of two things - the first being, Yes! I scored!

(407): i went to disney world today with my friends, met snow white, then saw her later at a bar. she is naked next to me in her bed, passwed out. when you wish upon a star...

    OR

Oh god, I'm never drinking again.

(902): and then I told her I was too drunk. She started to cry, and told me this always happens to her and that she thinks shes ugly. I pretended I was asleep and then she farted.

From the female perspective.... it's usually the latter.
(774): He yelled GOOOOAAAALLL when he came.

    3. And last but not least, the ridiculous antics that are realized after the fact. Ten shots and a drunk dial too late, in many cases.

(906): rough night. sneezed a watermelon seed this morning and apparently I drunk dialed my boss for a ride home. twice.

TextsFromLastNight is a homage to all things idiotic, foolish, humorous and sometimes vile. Someone contact A&E's Intervention. I have an addiction.  I looked through my texts from last night... nothing outstandingly funny or foolish to report.

What about your texts? Give me something good ;)
