I am confused as to why people become so uncomfortable with the fact that I am very open about my sexuality. I don't give explicit details about my experiences (very often, and when I do, it's to people that are genuinely interested and very mature about sex); still, I find it insanely weird when people get all clammed up and can't look me in the eye when I tell them I'm bisexual, borderline lesbian. What's weird about it? Is it because I'm not straight, or is it because I don't really fall in the range of their normal vocabulary? I'm not any extreme. I can't just say I'm straight or lesbian.
What's the kicker is the fact that after I say, "bisexual, borderline lesbian", they have to know
exactly what that means, even if they don't REALLY want to know. So I go on to explain that I'm far more sexually attracted to women, but they can never give me what I need emotionally out of a relationship, so I generally stay away from them. Sometimes, the silly people calm down and thinks that just means I'm "bi-curious" and that it's just a "phase".

Nope. I'm exactly what I say. I am
sexually attracted to women far more than I am attracted to men. Unfortunately for me, most women I find that are willing to have a relationship with me just aren't up to my woman standards. I'm the sort of girl that likes to rely on my significant other more than he or she relies on me, sadly. That makes me a sucker in the relationship instead of a giver, and most women are suckers. Women also tend to think they know everything. Women are also worse lovers than men, in my experience, because although they're more gentle and kind and blah blah blah...they're just waiting for their turn.
That's what women expect. They wait for their turn and do things for their lovers so they get things back.
I'm a woman. I know the game. You cannot deny this. I'm not saying this is 100% of the time. I get it in my head sometimes that I'm just gonna please my lover and leave it at that...but women who have been inducted into the "usual" woman mindset society expects them to have think that their shit doesn't stink and that they deserve the best they can get.
Well, the last part is true; they do deserve the best they can get. Everyone does. It's just...their mommies usually tell them that their Prince Charming will come in on shiny armor and shit, and then they're expecting the unrealistic lover. I must emphasize that
everyone deserves the best he or she can get. It's just that most women believe that imaginary is the best they can get, and if you're not to that standard, then kiss their asses! They don't need someone like you!
So they toss you out on the curb and tell you good riddance, don't come back.

No, if I want a serious relationship, I go for men. Men are fairly less attractive than women to me, on average, but I find them more fair and equal. They're straightforward, honest (if you find the right one), and very simple-minded (not in a bad way!). They work well to fix all of the problems. They want to protect the women.
Yes, this is the relationship I like, no matter how down-home southern and anti-feminist it sounds. I want someone who is going to take care of me...and that I can take care of in return.
Besides, did I mention men have
penises? I find those far more interesting than any fancy toy a woman could get me any day. Even if it vibrated. :D

haha well the only reason why I would ask what a bisexual borderline lesbian was is because I wouldn't understand what it meant. Well, if I thought about it long enough I would probably get the answer but it's easier to ask. I hope you find someone who you love that will take care of you :)

This wasn't about me.
This was about how society perceives me and how it usually reacts to my normal line of thinking, plus an explanation as to how my relationships tend to work.
@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - Yes, well, women and men work differently psychologically. Men tend to be stronger than women physically and get most of what they want through physical means and intimidation, plus just a straightforward means of communication and thinking.
Women, on the other hand, tend to be smaller, weaker, and communicators filled with potholes; women add extra meaning to very simple statements and tend to be more manipulative then men to get what they want.
It's all tends, by the way. Not all men and not all women work like this.

people like to put others into very specific nice fit categories to know who/what you are. But if you don't fit into those categories, they get nervous b/c their minds can't comprehend that there's more than the boxes that society has laid out. I am exactly the same way. I am sexually much more attracted to women than I am to men. There is simply something more sensual in women... however, I wouldn't completely rule off being in a relationship with a man. Thank you for your honesty.
Why is it bad to ask what it means by "bisexual, borderline lesbian"? Even I am confused by it. If i were to guess, I would have thought you were bisexual, but prefer women sexually/relationship wise.
Women are wayyyy more complicated than men, I have to agree. I love men for their simplicity. They do not find a need to deceive and to manipulate as many women do. Although, I do know a few who do just that. But they are in the minority.
As for faithfulness, women statistically are bigger cheaters than men. And yet men still suffer from that stereotype.

Every relationship is an exchange of goods. And believe it or not, some people really do just like to give. And duh they're waiting for their turn... You can't compare this to men because while they're doing you, they're getting off at the same time. It's not like they're these selfless beings, it's just a different type of experience.
Sorry, I just hate all your generalizations. I know you said it's not always the case, but I don't think what you're claiming as the norm is the norm. So you prefer men over women emotionally, but not physically, great. I just don't feel like these generalized statements about women and men are true - you're turning your tastes into statements about each gender that frankly I don't agree with. Perhaps it's because I have absolutely no interest in men and all I can think is "Uh! nu-uh, women are greatttt."
