Would You Marry Your Best Friend?
Yesterday, as I was leaning against my car, pumping gas, I started to think about the perfect relationship. (Yeah, odd/random moment to do it.) What would be perfect for me isn't the same thing everyone looks for, I understand, but I came to the conclusion that everyone should marry their best friend.You know, that "friend" you have. The guy/girl that you admire for being able to down a mudslide from Friday's in 20 seconds, the one you call to watch anime all day on weekends, the person you feel comfortable enough around to play your collection of ragtime music without worrying about him or her trying to kill you.
Why not be with someone that accepts you for who you are and doesn't want anything but love/humor/understanding in return?

My boyfriend is one of my best friends, so, yes. My girl best friend, nope. We both have boyfriends that we love very much <3.
Yes but I also have to feel attracted to him and have some chemistry... I can't really imagine marrying my friend from 4th grade, there's no passion there even if we have the most fun when we are together.
I'd marry my best friend if she were a man. No doubt. Most people don't survive 3,000 miles and 4 years of separation like we did.

Well, I'm actually in a relationship with a gentleman who was my best friend for a while before we got together. :) I've got to say that he's still my best friend. He's also my boyfriend and the love of my life, but he's definitely still my best friend. So of course I would marry my best friend. :P
I think that in general, if two people are getting married or are in love, they should be best friends.

If I had a male one and that's how things went down, then definitely. I think the person you marry should be your best friend. A relationship like that shouldn't be one dimensional. Sometimes I'll need him to be my husband. Sometimes my best friend.Â

i think if i did have a best friend like that i would consider it one day. funny you brought this up because my sister and i had this conversation when i went back to visit, she mentioned that she would love to marry her best friend and i thought it was just something so genuine for my sister to say but it kept me wandering about it too.

i think to marry someone you consider your best friend is great. i would most definitely marry my best friend because i know they would never bore me and would understand me more.
