Let's root, root, root for the home team, whoever those guys are.
My boyf is watching the Lakers/Nuggets series intently and is rooting for the former - they're his b-ball team of choice! I don't have a particular team I like, but I like watching the games with him 'cause I did basketball stats in school and miss going to games! Baseball is probably my sport of choice to watch, though . . . my minor league team back home was fantastic and my BFFs and I used to go to games all the time.

We're both St Louis Cardinals & Packers fans, and yeah, we watch the games together. Most of the time it's his whole family + me.
We both love sports, but we don't watch them on tv much... maybe like the superbowl finals or something. We both like watching soccer but we don't watch it together. I like watching him play soccer the most though... :) so that's my favorite team!
My boyfriend and I like all sports cept football, but we root for our team and hate our rival team. lol.

But He's a Sox Fan, and I'm a cubs fan.

This never happened with anyone I dated, but I was watching a Steelers vs. Ravens game with my crush...who happened to be from Baltimore. It was an interesting evening. We ended up sitting on opposite sides of the room.
We never watch sports together. If anything we watch Family Guy or he tries to teach me video games.
hes into footy.. i use to play but i get injured soo much that i stopped and i dont really know the professional rules and no particular team but hes got a home team to root for and when we do watch footy its usually because the boys are over at his place
my ex was in love with the oakland raiders and i was a major sf 49ers fan. he loves the golden state warriors and i love the cleveland cavs. we're always on opposing sides.
We both root for our home teams.
we fight about the NFL. She's a Cowboys fan and I'm a Browns fan. Other than that she's not a huge sports fan.
He loves just about every sport and I love football. He roots for the Redskins and I root for the Broncos, even though neither of them are our home team, haha! We've watched a few games together, I just draw the line at baseball. He loves the Cubs, but I just think watching baseball on tv is too boring!
she doesn't care much for sports besides swimming but she hates on my lakers just to annoy me haha. she's got a thing for wally on the cavaliers (i kinda like that team too but i love the lakers) but other then that she doesn't care. i like the SF giants, lakers, celtics, the colts and the steelers. she probably couldn't name too many more teams than those right there =p

i loveeeee patriots... he HATES patriots mostly brady, we both hate the giants even though we from ny. umm he hates lakers i dont really watch basketball like that. i just cheer for it lol maybe my favorite team is my college they're who i watch the most.. haha.. umm yeaa when it comes to football we tend to argue a lot but i don't mind...except our kids are gonna have to love the patriots.
I love the Rockets and Spurs.
He loves the Suns (mainly because of Shaq). He hates the Spurs.
He won't bash on the Rockets, but the moment I bring up the Spurs, he starts his "talk."
I'm not a big fan of Shaq... lol.
We watch games together, sometimes. Not often, but when we do... It's very, interesting.
My guy and I watch sports together all the time. We both graduated from the same college so obviously our Alma Mater is the team we root for (esp in football and baseball seasons). When it comes to basketball we're huge Blazer fans (cause we're from Oregon hello?) and as far as NFL goes we like The Packers, The Seahawks, and random others (I LOVE The Rams, he doesn't watch them as much). MLB we like The Braves and The Mariners (and will cheer for Boston when up against The Yankees).
We also will watch the occassional hockey game (he doesn't have a fav team, but I cheer for The Penguins hehe)
It's fun and I think it brings us closer.
The only thing me and my SO watch is wrestling. =P But we both love the same people, so it's all good. ^_^
my bf's a HUUGE football fan, and i like to watch the bigger matches with him. ^__^ if there's a big Man U match on, he'll wake up in the morning singing - glory glory man uniited, i love it when he sings. teehee.
LAKERSSSS wooooo! (even though that's not a home team lol). My ex loved them too, including the Colts for football.
My girlfriend isn't really big on team sports, but I've converted her to hockey and she's starting to really like the Sharks. I also cheer for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Bears, San Jose Sharks, and Manchester United. Luckily we're both from Nor Cal, so there's no danger of her adopting any So Cal sports teams (which I hate).
I'm the Giants, shes the Steelers.
I'm the Yankees, shes the Red Sox & Indians.
We're both rooting for the Cavs, over all other teams.
Shes Ohio State...I "Go Blue" just to bother her ^^
She doesn't really pay attention to other sports, If nothing is on, I have ESPN on (I watch everything).
We always go back n forth about sports, and it will never end :D Its quite beautiful actually.
oh yea, either basketball or soccer and it's always me watching with him, pretty typical. his favorite bball team is the utah jazz since he's from utah and his favorite soccer teams are chelsea and villareal and maybe a few more
He is a lakers and dallas cowboys fan ...I am a nuggets and a baltimore ravens fan...so rigth now its during the western conference there alot of trash talking going on but all in good fun
