Miss Walrus
Location: Kent, OH during the school year and Columbus, OH the rest of the time
Age: 22
Occupation: Full-time English major/Media Literacy minor
About Me: I'm tiny girl with big dreams. Seriously, I'm 4'10" and that's normally (okay, it's always) the first thing people notice about me...but of course it's my GLOWING personality that keeps 'em around! ; ) I'm officially a "super senior" (does anyone use that term in college?) because I changed my major twice before settling on English. No complaints, though; I am thoroughly enjoying the five year plan. I am a bit of a self help junkie and I totally believe in the Law of Attraction. I'm also a hardcore introvert and although I love people, I can only handle them in small doses. I check my horoscope every day...on multiple websites... and I don't mind when people make fun of me for it. I've come to realize that the most, and only, important things in life are good friends, delicious food and sweet beats.
My Ideal SO: I think it's hard to describe my IDEAL anything, because what I like today will probably change by next week! But right now I definitely want someone who shares similar views about life - someone who believes that you create life instead of life just happening to you, someone who knows that 'love is all you need' but is also realistic about our world and the future, and someone who understands that good food is just as important as well, anything. I want a SO who is PASSIONATE about something - someone who likes to stir things up a bit, someone who won't just sit back and complain when things go wrong, someone who isn't afraid to start a revolution.
He should be respectful of himself and others, have a similar taste in music (I am such a sucker for hippie boys!) and be able to hold a REAL conversation that goes beyond what bar we should go to and how fabulous the Cavaliers are doing this season. When it comes to looks, I like 'em super tall and I swoon for blue eyes - but I'm pretty flexible if someone has a killer personality. I don't think I really have a type - I'm starting to believe that you can find wonderful things in common with almost everyone.
My Two Rules to Dating: ONE: I'm like a ten year old boy when it comes to flirting and the beginning of relationships - I like to tease and I expect the boys I like to be able to dish it right back!
TWO: When it comes to choosing what kinda stuff we do, he has to be willing to watch/do some the girly things I like, even if it's only behind closed doors. I'm not talking about picking out eyeshadows at the MAC counter, but it's key that he be willing to watch a couple episodes of Nip/Tuck while cuddling up to me on the couch with a glass of red wine every once in awhile...and won't complain about it.
Random Things I Like: Talking philosophy and psychology (or arguing it, whatever the case may be). Sushi (!). Random road trips. Polaroiding all my pictures. Discovering new music. Picnics in the sunshine. Music festivals <3 <3. Faking random accents. Driving with the windows down. Manicures. When the clouds turn pink during a sunset. Reading anything & everything I can get my hands on. My MacBook. College. Finding inspiration in the weirdest/cutest/funniest places. Gangster rap. Hair extensions. Columbus, Ohio.

I love what you said about watching Nip/Tuck. I make my boyfriend watch Desperate Housewives and Millionaire Club [on Bravo] sometimes.
Nice to meet you!
You certainly don't seem like the typical girl (compliment!).
Nice to meet you :] I'm 4'9". Being short kind of rocks - my boyfriend loves giving me piggy back rides & picking me up <3
That's awesome! I also use the term super senior, since I am one. However, I've been debating using a new term, 150 super senior, since that's when financial aid runs out and I can't be an officer in any clubs till I become a graduate student.
My boyfriend and I have a secret love of Desperate Housewives... At first it was me who got sucked in, but very soon, he did too. Muahahaha. :P
