Friday Fun: Worst Pet Names
So we've done posts on what your pet names were and what kinds of names you wouldn't mind, but seriously, I knew this girl who called her boyfriend Binky.
BINKY.
I asked her why she called him that and she said it was a private joke between them. I'm not really sure I want to know what it was all about.

I used to call my ex "Boo-Boo." I have no idea why; it just slipped out of my mouth one day and stuck.
The weirdest pet name I have ever discussed is "Mew Mew KittyPoo."
I have a friend that, whenever she is dating a guy, adds "kins" to the end of his name. like Bryan-kins or Daniel-kins.
My ex gave me the name Bozo.

i was called redonkasauraus. haha. i cant spell it though.
One time I called my boyfriend something pie. It came out of nowhere. And I was like where did that come from?!!! lol

My boyfriends used to call me "dear" or "deary" until one day he accidently called me "beery." It's stuck for both of us. Even sometimes I'll be like "hey beer." LOL. i find it pretty funny.
My boyfriend also calls me Bear, Pumpkin, Baby, Babe.
the norm. I just call him beery. haha.
my boyfriend and i kind of play-fight and call each other names. a few days ago, i decided to start calling my boyfriend a "stinky butt hair."
but i think i should probably stop...
heheh :P
My boyfriend and I call each other 'bun' as in 'hunbun' but we dropped the hun part a while ago. I have no idea what started it.
My brother likes to call his fiance things like "my princess" and "my angel" which really just makes me cringe.
I have a habit of calling my boyfriend a whole variety of foods; whatever happens to come to mind at the moment. I personally think it's funny, and I blame my sister. She calls me various foods, too, and has done so for many years.
Examples have been: sweet lime (one I use frequently -- I got this one from Darjeeling Limited), jambalaya, chicken pot pie, pumpernickel, mon petit chou (which is actually a French term of endearment meaning "my little cabbage"), rice cake and partially gelatinated beverage.

i generally hate "pet-names," i cant stand to be called babe or baby by anyone, but usually my bf just calls me "lov" (unnecessarily shortened form of "love" lol) and i call him dear'st some times, but only via internet or text - sounds to lame to say out loud lol

But my boyfriend calls me
"Baby cakes"
And I call him a bunch of things "Honey Bee"
"SweetieFace"
& a lot of things with his face lmao
My boyfriend and I use babe, allllll the time. It's weird to here us use eachothers name to one another. The only time I use his name is when I'm talking to others about him, or when I'm upset at him, and it's the same way for him.Â
When I'm in a cheeky mood I'll use sweetiepie, or babycakes
My best friend & her boyfriend call each other "bootsie". It reminds me of that Dora the Explorer character. Kinda weird. Then again, my boyfriend & I call each other "schmoo" & he calls me "prettyface", hahah.
me and my boyfriend calls eachother "ney" short for "honey" hehe its fun cause he really dont like petnames he never used any to his ex girlfriends. but he did agreed about us having a petname:p that it also just slipped out of my mouth.
my weirdest petname that i tried to call my boyfriend was cupcake. haha but glad i didnt do it.:p contented with ney.

He calls me chicken wing. But I love it.
He calls me "gummy bear" sometimes haha, I love it though. Â It's because we always get the exact same ice cream at Coldstone Creamery...with gummy bears.Â
my boyfriend calls me midget. i'm really short and he'll tell me stuff like i'm his "cute little midget" and stuff. i'm not technically a midget, no kind of dwarfism in me or anything, it's just that i'm under 5 feet.
also, i have a friend who calls me "snookapoot". i don't know why, lol
i hate the pet name "babe".. it just reminds me of that talking pig.
i used to call my boyfriend cupcake. but he's not my boyfriend anymore. maybe that's why.
hmm.. luckily I've never gotten a bad nickname... probably b/c I once even forbid my bf at the time from calling me baby hah (I though it was demeaning =p)
I called one of my ex's "josey" (his name was josef) b/c he once called himself that at as a very young child (and now its the name of my car...)
I called another ex "cameroon" (his name was cameron, later did i find out that "cameroon" was actually a country) and "crunchy hippie" hah! he was/is!
I have many pet nicknames for my current SO but he's not a big fan of "babyface" (smooth face when he shaves!) and "bubba" (... i don't even know.)
Every serious relationship that I have been in - they all have thier own pet name. The current one I call "Dolly Guy". It started out when we first met and I called his cat "Dolly Cat". That comes from my mom calling our dog "Dolly Dog". Then I started calling him "Dolly Guy". Yes - his cat got a pet name before he did.
Oh god...I watched Not Another Teen Movie with my boyfriend one time, and now he will sometimes throw out "Pumpkintits" at me.
Yeah, not amusing.
