My boyf and I stay at each other's places pretty often, which is delightful . . . except that some mornings, he has to get up early to go home before work because he doesn't have clothes/shower stuff/whatev with him. Lately, he's been taking a Ziploc bag with toiletries back and forth in case he stays at my place, which is really sweet but unnecessary.
So I asked him what I could get for him to keep at my place (razor? shaving cream? drawer for t-shirts?) and he said he didn't mind just bringing stuff back and forth and that even generic toiletries were fine if I decided to get stuff for him. I think I'm gonna buy a mini-stash of stuff to keep at my place so he doesn't need to go allllll the way home just to get ready for the day.
Do you have a drawer or a little collection of stuff you keep at your SO's house when you spend the night?

When we were living at college, he basically lived in my dorm room. He had a box of stuff that he kept there in case he needed it. I made him put it all in a box, 'cause it would be all over the floor if it was up to him :P
But now that we're both living with our respective families, we don't have each other's stuff at each other's houses. It might end up that way, though, as the summer progresses.
My boyfriend and I live together
But my ex, I was at his house all the time, I had my own drawer. And my own tooth brush holder and stuff. so yeah
when i had a reg. gf she had a drawer and closet space too. at her place i had a drawer. and yes she would wash my stuff and i would wash hers.
Haha, yup! I have my own "cubby hole" at his place :)
When I "lived" at my bf's place while trying to find a job, most of my stuff was in storage, with the bare necessities with me in his room. I got a drawer and a lil bit of closet space for the time being. It was great.
Yes I have a drawer!!!! I can't wait to move ALL of my stuff in!
hehe, that's pretty cool that y'all have that going on. i had some clothes in the gf's closet at one point but i'd always bring my own toiletries in a bag b/c it's easier that way. a drawer is definitely awesome and practical! woot!
NO
@KnowingHimm@xanga - Hahahahaha. Great answer. C:
I always have something at his house, I have his hoodie at mine. But no, I don't keep a lot there.
@lovemonkeyy@xanga - thanks, short and sweet and to the point.
@KnowingHimm@xanga - Exactly, that's how it should be. No confusion necessary
Nope! We both live with our respective parents.
Uh... no.
I'm the one who visits him more and therefore I have stuff at his place and he doesn't have any at mine (I live with my brother and he's afraid of my brother so he hardly comes). It was horrible when we broke up half a year ago because he had to bring most of my stuff to me and hid the other things so he wouldn't see them. But now that we're back together my stuff is piling in his room again. I have my drawer and some closet space and I claim basically half the shoe rack, and I have my own set of toiletries and even extra contact lenses (and extra case). I also have some of the book shelf...I have stuff at his parents' place as well because I used to visit them weekly with the boy. What can I say? I just like to travel light =)
Well seeing as I'm going to be living with him, I better at least get my own drawer! =P
Nah, he can take the drawer...I need the rest. hahaHe calls his glove box my shrine. Pictures, CDs, my brush, you name it. His brother teases him for it all the time. Not to mention that I have two shirts, a hoodie and sweats from him. Basically my room is just like his glove box.
eh.
with my ex, i started living with him not long before i started living with him.
there wasnt ever any establishment or any issues.
my stuff just started ending up at his place.
we were young and too attached for our own good.
i have a drawer of my clothes and some toiletries, just makes things a little more easier.
He has a small drawer for his on the go stuff (cell, keys, etc) and a larger drawer for some of his clothing. I have a drawer at his place for my clothing, and he has hanger space so I have a lot of stuff hung up as well. I'd offer him that option as well here, but I don't have hanger space. lol I also have a bag I keep over at his place with duplicates of things, like body wash, makeup remover, etc.
Seems kinda strange that your guy doesn't seem interested in having stuff left at your place, or having stuff bought so that he can keep it there. What if he purchased some things himself? Or you both did? I don't know how far into the relationship you are, and if there's much distance of your place and his place or not, those would certainly be a factor. I have to travel an hour or so, so having my stuff at his place and his here is a must. Otherwise packing is just too heavy.
I used to keep a pair of pj pants at my boyfriend's place when we were still at school.. only because I like to be comfortable when I get home from school. I always have to change as soon as I get home. I guess it's 'cause I feel like my clothes are "dirty" since it has been outside & all... It's a quirk of mine. *shrugs*
well my boyfriend moved into my house with my family fairly quickly soo... yes once we got our own places we had drawers at each others place... now we're getting an apt this weekend soo...yea
i do have drawer of my own at his place and vice versa. also the medicine cabinet and the sink drawer in the bathroom for my woman products just in case or my shampoo or bathroom needs.
About a month or so ago, my boyfriend let me start keeping a toothbrush over there.
It was unexpected but very sweet of him.
=)
(And he doesn't have anything over at my house because he's not allowed over. =/ )
hahaha i remember when i accidently lost my panties while skinny dipping with my baby and he luckily had some panties of mine in his special drawer for me! hahaha
so in this case it saved my life! hahahaha
