So last night's episode of The Hills was slightly more unwatchable than usual, but the conundrum Audrina was in is a perfect hypothetical for you guys to hash out!
While they were on vacation, Audrina admitted she'd always had a little crush on Brody - drinking, peripheral gazes and mild flirting ensued and Audrina ended up sleeping over in Brody's bed with him.
Needless to say, Brody's girlfriend (Jayde) was not thrilled.
When they were all back in town, Jayde called Audrina out and was talking shit about her. Audrina felt threatened, but so did the notoriously overprotective Jayde! There was shouting, name-calling and bleeping of unsavory language...and Brody just stood there, like, "um..."
Later, Brody told Lauren he had no idea what to do in that situation, so he did nothing. Who was he supposed to defend, especially when Jayde was becoming more unreasonable throughout the night?
Okay, pretend you're Brody (haha, but do it!). Would you intervene in this screaming match or stand aside? If you'd intervene, who would you side with?

Okay, so that one girl came on to him.. knowing that he was in a relationship with someone else. His girlfriend finds out about the whole thing..
If that man had any common sense (or wanted to stay with his girlfriend in general) he would have jumped up to take her side.
I'm on his girlfriends side, anyway.

Judging by what I've heard over my shoulder when cooking my bratty sister dinner, the Audrina one has known him forever, right? So how could she not have a crush on him? Sure it was wrong to go after him... but unless they actually fucked, who cares. This girlfriend sounds like a crazy, jealous, overprotective biatch to me!
Uh neither. His girlfriend could have been more mature with the way she handled it. Then him & his girlfriend should have had a serious talk and that should have been the end. He was just as wrong as Audrina was though. I don't really see how he could be on either side.
Isn't she the newest playboy or something... there was something on entertainment weekly on her LOL.
I'd stand aside... the hills is too annoying, anyway.

If I were Brody, I would have never had someone sleepover while I was in a relationship.
brody is not even that cute, sorry. He's stupid for doing it in the first place knowing he has a GF & he just sits there while they're arguing. & Jayde looks like that "Cat Lady" or kind of like "Octomom". O.o Lames.
This whole situation is staged. The show is scripted.
And I think they should both leave him because he shouldn't have even gotten himself into that situation.
hes dumb to have cheated on his gf to begin with. But if i was in his situation id be like woah Jayde isnt really that smart cause she should be yelling at me not Audrina cause Im more in the wrong then Audrina considering i did the cheating on my gf and i coulda said no to Audrina lol....I definitely wouldn't have intervined cause true colours definitely were brought out by both girls. Obviously if cheating got this started then he obviously didn't want to be with her 100 percent. If a light switch went off in his head while he witnessed that drama he'd leave Jayde and ignore Audrina's "crush" and get on with his life.

i've been the other girl too but it wasn't all me, it takes two people to tango.

I side with the girlfriend. The boyfriend should back her up, what he let happen was wrong.
In theory one should side with their partner, but when/if they are being unreasonable it makes it hard to do.

How about just admitting that it is all his fault and take the blame.
The gf should have broke up with him....they're all at fault.... it's all scripted though because duhh...if you know you're on tv...it's common sense not to show you are cheating in front of the whole world...eventually your gf will be watching...
Um it was his fault in the first place for even letting Audrina sleep over. Jayde's anger is seriously misplaced. But I can see why she'd be pissed at her.
honestly, audrina was trying to start shit and make brody choose her. she was wrong, and honestly, a little bit slutty to do this anyways with total disregard for his g/f. sure, she doesn't think they're a good fit, but does that matter?? does their relationship really get affected by her opinion??
I really don't think I have much respect for her, especially after this episode. She really needs to learn the girl code- not even that, just the DECENT PERSON code.
and I think yeah, jayde should be a little more mad at brody too, but is she really going to? she obviously loves him, and since she can't be mad at him and reconcile those two feelings in her heart, it gets directed at audrina. which honestly to me is quite fine- audrina set out with a mission to do this, and did it. I don't see how anyone being mad at her is bad. she deserves it.
I would just back away slowly. Or try to make myself look as big as possible. Or however you protect yourself from a catfight of that proportion.
If I was Brody, I'll be like, "Man, these two bitches are fighting over me! Yeaaahhh." Just watch and enjoy.

Why are you still staying with him after he cheated on you with another woman? Why are you slashing out at the other woman and not him? And for Audrina, why are you flirting, sleeping, making yourself look like a homewrecker when you know your friend has a girlfriend already?
