Have You Driven Past An Ex's House Just to Check Up?
via Exposay:Taylor Swift stalks her ex-boyfriends. The "Love Story" singer - who has previously dated Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers - likes to spy on her previous partners as she wants to know what they're doing.
She is quoted as saying: "In my spare time I like to drive past my ex-boyfriends' houses. I'm not like throwing eggs - I just like to check up on them. Everybody does that - it's just that nobody admits to it!"
Okay, so maybe you don't do it as a hobby or anything, but have you driven past your ex's house to check up on him or her? I don't think I've ever done that, but I've had it happen to me. Creepy.

all the time haha, well actually i like checking up on my most recent ex's myspace, facebook, and e-mail
No...he was a jerk and I'm glad he is out of my life.
I occasionally drive past the house my ex used to live at and smile. It's on the way to the grocery store, to clarify. I don't go out of my way. He doesn't live there anymore but I have some good memories from meeting his parents there and leaving for formals and such. The only time I've ever done a drive by was after we broke up. I drove to his apartment complex and parked and just broke down and then drove home. It was therapeutic, def not stalkerish.
I LOVEEE TAYLOR SWIFT SO MUCHHH. Her music video for You Belong With Me makes my heart want to ASPLODEEE sdfhkjasdfhak I want to LIVE
...that's a weird hobby. Not something I'd do in my spare time.
Ew, no. I wouldn't waste my time.
That's just asking for a restraining order...
one word............FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ew. That place is history and I'd like to keep it that way. Although, I've been stalked before at school, home, etc, and it's not as much fun as some people may think. Hey, if it was Hugh Jackman, oh dear Lord, that would be awesome. *LoL* But they were no Hugh Jackmans. XD
Btw, people who spy on your every move via the web, would you consider them as stalkers too?
There is one particular person, whom I haven't associated myself with in years, who has been spying on me via the web for the last 3-4 years on a weekly basis, and that stalker happens to be a totally straight female. Very odd... =/
I don't want to communicate with her in any way so I've never bothered msging her, "Why?"
Nope. I don't want to bother myself with ex's (unless we're friends). There's a reason why they're an ex.
Negative. Ex's don't really live anywhere nearby. One of them, though, lives next to my brother's best friend. That was awkward.
Its been done to me. But I've never done it. I don't have any interest in my ex's lives.
uh, who does that? weirdos.
I don't have a car. lol.
But whenever I'm on the bus, and I'm BOUT to pass an ex's house. I always look. Just so I hopefully don't run into them. >.<
However, I've had someone do it to me..
god, it was very scary. Specially when the guy was abusive to me..
Nope but he's probably driven past mine!!! He's such an idiot....harassed me via text enough to be annoying...
No not really. lol!
However I'll drive past while we're dating if I suspect them of lying or anything like that.
I totally have, however, at the time I was lost and recognized that I was near his house, and I knew if I could get to his house, I could get home. But it was also an excuse to drive past and see if I could see anything.
I have never done that, that is so creepy!
i've never done that. but i might, but i dont see the point. you can't really see anything just from driving by.
i think i've done it once, to each of my exs. idk, i didn't just randomly decide to go check up on them, i was nearby and just felt like driving by their house. i don't think it's that creepy if you weren't actually "checking up". i just sort of wanted to be reminded of them again.
No, not their house. Thats is quite creepy. But i have checked their facebook, once in a while
@wenDiies@xanga - yeah me too. I sometimes do a little facebook creeping to see how things are going but we ended on a pretty good note so it is less awkward. But I have never driven by his house to see how he was, too much effort for something I don't care that much about.
I've done it a few times in the past. Now I just think, WTH was I doing? LOL
I try to avoid being anywhere near my most recent exes. But it seems I'm always having to house sit (it makes bank!) for his neighbors at one place, and walk the dogs in front of another. Ugh. The good part is that these exes no longer live at home with their families, so I seem a bit less intrusive to the stranger's eye.
no! That's just creepy. I have called an ex then hung up. XD But I would never go over just to check what they are doing without them knowing!?
