Does Your Boyf Keep Track of Your Period?
Hilariously enough, there is an iPhone app that lets you (or your gentleman friend) keep track of your menstrual cycle. You input your last period date and cycle length and it predicts when your next period will be, when you're most likely to get pregnant should you monkey around during particular dates and when you're ovulating.
Do you usually have to tell your guy "hey, it's shark week" or does he keep track? Also, would you be embarrassed if he kept track of your cycle on his phone?

He "kept track" more in the past than now, and he was more compassionate in the past than now. I generally let him know, though, and sometimes he reminds me it's coming if I haven't said anything.
After two years and three months together, he probably has my cycle engrained.
I not have girl FD .
He totally keeps track, because I only get it once every three months. He'll be like, hasn't it been almost three months since you last had it? I'm like, oh yeah, I'm probably going to get it soon. Feh. He totally knows better than me when I'm gonna get it :P
& he probably wouldn't need to keep track of it using his phone, considering he already basically knows it, haha.
Yea. When I start sleeping with someone it always seems like they keep track. Maybe even better then me!
lol
But it's fine. And if anything I don't have to use a code. I just say straight up "I got my period. Yay!"
@steph - Or it's already been in his phone, and that's how he knows. :P
My guy has no clue when my period is. We are not at a sexualy intimate level. If he wanted to keep track of my period I wouldn't mind. I think it's great for guys to be aware of they way a womans body works.......
My boyfriend asked me to tell him when I start. He says the reason is so that he does not do something stupid, which I guess is a good thing. (x
@poet85@xanga - Hahah! That would be funny. I somehow doubt that, though :P
"shark week"
its pretty easy to keep track of mine, its so regular.
who would even think of inventing that app? thats pretty random/gross...
Haha...why is that hilarious? I have that app!! It's actually helpful!! I have no clue if he keeps track or not, I just always be sure to let him know...if it's necessary for him to know, that is.
Haha, an app on the iPhone for that? That's the strangest thing I have heard in awhile. I've had boyfriends that were able to keep track when it was safe to do anything. It was kind of weird.. but in a way it was nice because then they already knew that we couldn't do anything during that week. I didn't have to turn them down..
i'm sort of irregular, so usually i'll text him and be like "oh btw i'm not pregnant" so he knows i'm on my period
He doesn't really keep track. I just tell him like "oh, I'll have my period next week" or whatever, just so he knows.
he keeps track. it's weird. -___- but then he doesn't have an iphone or anything. it's all in his head i guess?
I have a little black book. With stars besides the girls names. One star is the first week of the month and one and a half or half and a one means either the middle of the first or the middle of the second.
Does that make me a cad?
I mean if you're slutty enough to answer this question, I can add you to the list.
whores.
Ah keep the comments coming.
In my previous relationships I always knew because we would have a ridiculous fight, something along the lines of "you didn't call me the second you got to your car after leaving my house," resulting in uncontrollable sobbing.
When a man asks if you got your period or keeps track of it, you know that he cares for you.
That would be hilarious.
My boyfriend has that app, and we definitely use it. i don't see what the big deal is because it's very useful. It tells when your fertile days are, and when you're ovulating. The only reason my boyfriend has the app is because he has an iPhone and i don't. He always knows when my period is, whether he uses his phone or not. It just isn't a big deal. It means he cares about me. My period was a day late this time and he freaked out probably worse than i did.
Mine has never been stable so we both can't keep track of it.
My bf just asks me when I expect to have it. Not a big deal to me to let him know.
That's cool that there's an app for that, but no he doesn't keep track.
id be so weirded out if my bf was interested in the exact date of my period beginning. most men dont even like to talk about that...
i wish he would :)
I tell him, he'd find out sooner of later. I think he basically knows when to expect it, though it'd be weird if he had that app o_O
