You Vs. Your SO: Call Me Sometime
Okay, this is weird, but I think in an age of speed dialing and contacts and having to know 40 million different numbers, this is an ostensible problem.
Do you know your BF/GF's number? Does he/she know yours?
I know his - I have a strange talent for memorizing numbers and knew his pretty early. I'm not sure he knows mine, though.

Yeah. I had decided to actually try and memorize it one time. It's not completely stuck yet, but it's there. :) Thankfully. I was like "What if I ever need him and I don't have my cell phone?! What will I do?!" haha. :) So, I started trying to memorize it. I believe he knows mine, too. Yay. :)
My bf knows all my numbers: home, dorm, cell.
I know my bf's numbers: his home, old line at his house that got cancelled, two of his old cell phone number and his current one.
It's always important to memorize the phone numbers of the people you love in life (and who love you back) so that if you get into trouble you can call them without your cellphone or an address book.
Though I keep him on sort of speed dial. I can get to his number in my address book on my cell phone faster than speed dial can retrieve it.
I know his. It's easy to remember. I don't think he knows mine though.

We only call each other on our cell phones. He's number two on my phone, but that's because number 1 is my voice mail.
I have been best friends with the same girl for 15 years now.
I have her home phone memorized, and in fact often dial it mistakenly for my own home number, because back in the day I would call her so often on the landline.
Since she has gotten a mobile, probably back in 2003, I have not once had her number memorized. I call her almost every day. I think there's an 8 in it somewhere.
If ever I memorize my SO's number, it'll be my husband, for emergency purposes only, and it's going to take some effort, haha.
I know his number by heart..... I don't think he knows mine without his phone to help him.
yup! I know his number 'cause I used to dial as in punching all of the numbers :D
& he knows mine too ^___^

Well, I can only memorize numbers if I want to & if it's necessary. I usually give out my # if people NEED to not want to cause I hate wasting my load for useless things & thank God I still don't have a bf that'd text me

It's from the days when we didn't live together, and we would call each other from land lines.
yes, because his number is palindromic, and i made him memorize mine after his phone broke
lol I thought I did until I recited it to him and it was wrong. He didn't realize it either until he saw his own number (i got his old and new number mixed up) ... but now I know it. :)
He knows mine. It's really easy :)
i memorize his only because i didn't have a cellphone for a bit... he memorized my old cellphone until it got cut off.. hahaha
i dunno if he memorizes my new cellphone though
I don't know his and he doesn't know mine. I don't even think we could recognize it from a short list of numbers. I haven't tried at all to memorize it, just entered it into my phone once and been dialing from my contact list ever since. We both don't use a home phone either so no dialing.

I know the majority of the numbers for people who are/were important in my life. I only put people on speed dial for convenience, not because I don't know their numbers.
Haha - i didn't think i knew his, but this past winter my car went into the ditch during a blizzard and i had to call him for help. I couldn't find my phone ( i had dropped it in a snow bank) and used a stranger's (who had pulled over to help) cell phone to call my boyfriend. i didn't know I knew his number... but in the moment of adrenaline rushing, i seemed to know it.. it was soo weird.
I'm horrible with numbers. It took me awhile to memorize my own cellphone number -.-; . My last boyfriend memorized mine, even after we broke up.
i memorized his pretty early because it was easy. I had to make him memorize mine. I would "quiz" him on it :) he finally got it right.
