I thought this was very hilarious and accurate. =)
to me, yes actually. especially if they're better at it than I am. See, in that video, I would not be one of those girls, because I'm better at playing guitar then him. but having musical talent in some form has always been on my top things I want in a boyfriend.
haha, that was hilarious. Honestly, guys that can play more than four notes or chords on the guitar are definitely more attractive.
But I still find drums to be the best instrument to be able play if you want attention from ladies (;
Hahaha, hilarious video.
They only seem more alluring if I actually want to learn to play that instrument.
I feeeel like Mancouch posted this video before. Anyway, I love that my boyfriend plays bass. It's such a turn on ;)
ahaha nice video ! :D
Haha, its like a how to guide to being a tool.
the College Humor crew are just too funny
And it really is only more alluring if they can actually play. As real musician, I find it super hilarious when I see people who are obviously using the Learning Guitar to Get Laid technique.
YES!!!! Oh my word any guy who can play guitar instantly has my attention regardless of anything else about him. Not enough to sleep with him, but at least hang around him for a while and chat.Â
hahahahahaha. Hilarious video.
I've always found guys who can play the piano attractive. I think I'm burned out on guitar, especially an acoustic guitar. Everyone and their fuckin' mama plays the guitar. Nothing interesting about it. At least to me.
Haaaaaaaaaah, nice. I can't say I've seen this work out as the video might imply, but I do like having the ability to play a guitar.
People tend to appreciate it.
I think it's so sexy that my boyfriend can play guitar.
I could watch him for hours.
Playing guitar = infinitely sexy.
Since I play guitar (and more than just wonderwall... I also don't mean that to sound brag-gy. There are so many better guitar players than me out there.) YES! =] Any girl who sings/ play an instrument is that much that much more attractive.
I don't really care whether someone can play an instrument or not. If they can, I'll think that's cool, but I won't find them more alluring than someone who couldn't.
I don't really care, but if you play the piano, that's a big plus. If you can't, it won't really bother me, lol.
i have been surrounded by very musically talented people since i was young, i use to think EVERYONE knew how to play instruments until i finally came across the outside world. now, i don't really care if the guy plays an instrument or not. there are some cons to it, he might love his guitar more than he loves you. :p
musically talented people now don't really attract me in any way but thats just me.
wow. very true lol. my current boyfriend plays guitar, and we started dating because he was giving me guitar lessons...well kinda.
haha I play guitar and piano! lol
haha, i've seen this one before. sooo funny
LOL nice, but no . not for me anyway. you already have to be sexy before you play. Now if the guy is sexy and plays then its just added foreplay =)
@BimBo_HiPPo@xanga - I'm in a similar boat as a former music major from a theater family.
I think attraction to musicians is a very bourgeois characteristic, and as an experienced musician I find it shallow and disillusioning. I grew up in an environment where artistic expression was the norm. From this, I've garnered this sort of "so what" attitude towards basic musicianship - to me, the point is, does your work say anything to express who you are on the inside or your feelings towards an experience or issue?
The truth is, for most guitarists, the answer to this is no. It's a mainstream instrument that every guy looking to get laid knows how to play. What I don't understand is why any socially aware girl would fall for it, and my conclusion is that most people must not be socially aware.
Then again, most people looking to get laid care little for such subtleties as personal expression anyway. However, if one considers sex as a form of conquest, my point still stands - guitar is so damn mainstream, what kind of accomplishment is it to sleep with some one who plays it?
It is maintaining this sort of pretentiousness that keeps me from getting laid, but I digress. The point is, if you want to impress me as a musician, you better be damn good at what you do - just because some chick can play guitar doesn't mean I'd crawl into bed with her.
Yes, learning an instrument can be a big turn on
Loll! It can be true sometimes.. But for me and my friends, if we see someone playing the same four chords over and over again, we know they're a wannabe, as we are musicians ourselves. :P
I think LinZ from MSI is hot because she plays bass. But of course, I play bass too. :3
I play both but am a proud bassist first and foremost. I don't know if it makes you sexy - but it sure is a great confidence booster when you can get up in front of people and rock out! Good conversation starter, too. ;)
