Seattle Couple Hears Gunshots, Keeps Making Out Anyway
via Seattle Times:A man and woman were sitting in a car on Beacon Avenue South early Sunday morning when they saw a group of kids throwing gang signs and then heard several gunshots. The couple considered calling 911, but decided on another course of action.
They "started making out instead," according to a Seattle police report.
Police were called...shortly after midnight in response to complaints about a group of 10 or more juveniles yelling, swearing, trespassing and being disorderly on the playground equipment at the site. When police arrived, the juveniles cursed the cops. One youth reportedly said, "Dog, don't let them catch us." as they fled.
When officers checked the area they found the amorous couple sitting in a car on a dead-end street. "The two were thinking about calling 911 when they heard the shots but started making out instead," police wrote in an incident report.
HOT. Have you ever been making out with someone and had something insane happen like these guys did? If you were in their shoes, do you think you would've called 911 or kept doing your thing?

Tough call. I don't like to get myself involved especially if there were "gangs" involved, but I would've probably called the cops if I heard gunshots in a rather quiet neighborhood. I grow up hearing gunshots at night on a daily basis, so it's considered a "norm" for me, so my natural reaction wouldn't be calling the cops, I'm somewhat oblivious to it now.

lock your doors and get to smacking, seeing as how if you stopped it or called the police, they would have noticed it. And before you know it, you have a high chance of either being a goner or a higher chance of the kids getting away, once they see the lights on the car. The cops never could catch those gun-toting sissies in the automobile.
The stupid couple doesn't realise that they were just one gunsshot to "....till death do us part".

LMAO! That sounds hilarious, but I would have made my SO drive to another spot. Here, you can't call the cops if you see or hear something going on....."snitches get stitches", the popular saying goes.
I would've DEFINITELY stayed. No police report from me; heh.... no time for it. ;) From what I know and have experienced with gangs, it's usually best to mind your own. They may not know you're even in the car, depending on if they even LOOK or if your windows are tinted! You're going to turn your car ON, REV the engine, turn on your HEADLIGHTS, and drive past them, after you just heard GUNSHOTS. Sounds like it should actually be on a NOT-TO-DO LIST.

Well I know when I see people who seem scary I try to act normal. Making out would be something people wouldn't want to get into so yea that's good. lol.

Well, my boyfriend and I aren't that brave. We'd flee and call the cops!
That story would have been funnier if one of them had been grazed and not noticed.
I don´t what I would have done if I were in their place, but I guess I would have gone to a safer area and then call 911.
