You Vs. Your SO: How Do You Prefer to Communicate?
I am a big fan of texting. It's fast, to-the-point and easier than a phone call. He's a big emailer - we have some email threads that are, like, 100 messages long. Win. I do like emailing because you have sort of a story of your relationship that you can go back and read obsessively *cough*.
How do you guys communicate most often?

Either that, or we're on the phone.
Me and my SO communicate through ICQ messenger and talk on Skype phone online. We have a long distance relationship so we send pictures to each other and communicate everyday online. So far so good.
Text mostly. I just installed skype, so hopefully we'll start using it. We've actually only talked on the phone twice, the first time was 3 hours, the second time was 5.

we usually talk on the phone (at least 30 minutes - 1hr a night). we msned once, i guess he didnt like it... sometimes we text and hardly on aim but i'm on aim all the time.
we text allll the time. it's just easier for us; while he's working, or while i'm working we can let eachother know whats going on without interrupting thier work too badly.
We rarely have to resort to techology to talk, as we're with each other a lot of the time. But, if we aren't together, texting works too. When we'll be apart, he wants to get a webcam so we can chat & see eachother & whatnot ;)
Texting, online, phonecalls, skype chats are the norm for us, but I know personally I prefer face to face communication, and I'm pretty darn sure she does, too.
Being in a long distance relationship, though, definitely prevents any normal face-to-face conversations we could have. The time we do spend together, though, is just that much more precious to me.

Text, but i would rather have direct one-on-one conversation with him....
technology today has really limited a more intimate personal connection with someone because we're too busy talking to 20 other people.

Text, a lot. Generally in-person conversations lately though, because we can hang out whenever we want, and we see each other in school. We talk on the phone a lot too :)
Well we basically live together and see each other all the time, if we're not together we're probably busy so texting is easiest. Simply convos you can do in class or at work...
surprisingly when we were in a LDR we chatted on the phone the most (probably as much as we see each other now, I guess trying to mimic that), text sometimes if we were in class/at work... and then skype if we were both at home at night, its nice to see each other...
Other than talking when we see each other in passing periods during school; from when we get home until we sleep we're talking to each other on AIM.

oo... i think exactly like u! i love texting and emailing.
through akward glances and with short sentinces such as 'how are you' and 'hello' and stuff like that. ESP has turned out to be a big fail with us.
Other times, we communicate through music. He plays his cello, and I play my flute. It's hard to explain if you've never experienced chamber music.
We both prefer face to face, but during the week when we're at school, we talk on the phone and text.
text, call, vidchat, IM, e-mail. the works.
of course in person too

He likes all those and phone calls 'cause he can hear my voice :D
We texted all the time. It was quick, efficient, and simple. We were both always so busy. We saved the phone calls for when we really missed each other.
